The Bose SoundLink Max Portable Speaker is fantastic. The sound quality is superb and lives up to the Bose name and quality. It is sleek, modern, thoughtfully designed with solid build quality, and is super portable with a long battery life, I have spent quite a few hours playing music and haven't had to charge it even once, it does come with a USB-C charging cable and adapter.

The Bluetooth connectivity is easy and can be connected quickly to multiple devices simultaneously, the Bose Connect app provides useful customization options. My only issue is the Bass gets a little distorted on max volume. Overall, the SoundLink Max delivers a rich audio experience with stylish design making it a great addition to my collection.

I’ve used my SoundLink Max for indoor/outdoor work around the house, casual listening to music/podcasts and for all of my garage gym workouts! Refreshing is the word I would use to describe the battery life. I simply don’t have to worry about it running out of battery like I do with other devices. Having the option to utilize the speaker to charge other devices also provides some peace of mind if you get in a pinch without an outlet nearby. Bluetooth pairing is quick and simple but one of my favorite features so far has to be the ability to easily swap between connected devices when listening with others. The speaker and carry handle feel durable and the materials equally premium. I would love to see some additional handle length options down the road and potentially another color or limited editions offered for the speaker in the future. My only critique is the volume of the prompts when powering on the device. Personally, I would like it to be a little quieter or be given the option to adjust it. Myself, my wife and young daughter couldn’t be happier with the SoundLink Max and I’m excited to use it for a very long time! I've been using my SoundLink Max for about a week and a half. This little speaker has become an integral part of my day to day--music while cooking, showering, household chores, etc. It's no surprise that the sound quality is top tier whether use is indoors or for an outdoor circuit workout. As much as I've used the speaker I've charged it only once so far and battery life is still going strong. While the speaker has superb sound for a sizeable party, it also has crisp sound at lower volumes (used speaker for my nephews nap time lullabies). Sound aside, the look and feel of the speaker is luxury coupled with durability. I look forward to the accessory options Bose has thought of for the removable handle as well! So grateful for this speaker as it helps fill my days with my favorite music.

However, that all changes when you utilize the EQ within the Bose app. It really shows the capability of what the Snapdragon Sound can do and puts everything into perspective on what these speakers have to offer. I listen to a wide variety of music and being able to customize it to what I'm listening to, and where I have been able to take them is the reason why I keep coming back to these speakers. The customizable handle is a huge added plus. They aren't small speakers, so the handle does come in very useful. The material feels nice in the hands and makes it very easy to transport and portable. It is such a small detail, but it really shows how much thought they put into making them, which makes them very functional. Compared to its size, they’re not as heavy as they look either. You can always count on Bose for quality sound and practicality.

The Bose SoundLink Max was an amazing idea by Bose that sounds genuinely good while it gets louder in volume. At some points the bass may get a bit murky depending on the song itself, you can always use the equalizer and tweak it a bit in order to get the perfect sound to your liking. The speaker itself is small enough and light enough that you can carry it with you everywhere without it being a hassle.

The accessibility is great with the speaker, being able to change the straps is easy to help suit your needs (with simply changing the handles or making it into a sling). The connection between your device and the speaker itself is quick, which is a huge improvement because personally I struggle sometimes with connection speed with some bluetooth devices. The speed that it charges at is also relatively quick, so you can get back on the go with some juice in little to no time. The addition to the water resistance is also nice, just don't try to drown it!

I do have to say however, it gets dirty severely quickly which can be bothersome to some people. Due to it being silicone it attracts smears, and scratches easily. Hopefully within the future Bose can also implement more options within the short cut button and add a cover for the ports in the back to help with the water resistance.

Overall, I do recommend this product, it may seem small but it rivals bigger stereos and keeps its quality at higher volumes after messing with the equalizer.
