Gain instant access to the front, side, and top panels with the H5 Flow's unique tool-less design. Easily pop the panels off so you can upgrade your cooling and access difficult-to-reach places. Additionally, a 1.1" cable management space makes maneuvering your wires easy.

Ultra-fine mesh panels found at the top, front, and even the PSU shroud optimize airflow from all angles, allowing your resource-demanding hardware to operate at full load without worry.

Designed to accommodate a variety of fans, the H5 Flow optimizes your layout with multiple locations and options. The front panel supports either three 120mm or two 140mm fans, the top supports two 120mm fans, the rear supports a 120mm fan, and the inside shroud can support up to two 120mm fans.

Install a variety of radiators in the H5 Flow with support for radiators up to 360mm at the front panel, 240mm on the top panel, and 120mm on the rear panel. If you have low-profile memory, you can install top-mounted radiators up to 280mm.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. This zoom mid side microphone while looking like the one in the box for the h6 is a specifically mid side microphone, and is therefore a solution ? Just looking at mid side processing, and this is a appropriate solution? Stefan....

A: This mid side capsule works with the Zoom H5 and H6 portable recorders, and features two mic elements - one is a middle unidirectional mic that faces forward and one bi-directional side mic that is perpendicular to the first. This set-up enables the "mid-side" recording style, where signals from the center and ambient sounds from the sides can be combined to make the stereo image more narrow or wide.

Q: 2. I heard bigger SD cards have slower start/boot times. what SD card does everyone use? how many gigs and brand? how long was the start up time?

A: Start-up time can vary from a few seconds to a minute or more. Stay with SanDisk cards that are no larger than the project demands. Stick with SDHC cards no larger than 32GB. 16GB or smaller work well for most projects.

Q: 3. Can the back-up recording be used for any inputs or does it have to be only for the L/R mix?

A: The back-up recording is only for the L/R mix.

Q: 4. Can you input one shotgun mic into channel 1 and split into two channels internally with different levels one 0db, -20db for safety track?

A: When using the L/R input, in addition to the recording at the set input level, the recorder can also record a separate file at alevel 12dB below. For example, this backup can be used if the recording level was set too high, causing distortion.

Q: 5. What is the Signal-To-Noise Ratio for this?

A: At this time, the SNR is not specified by the manufacturer.

Q: 6. Is it compatible with the new H8 ?

A: Yes.

Q: 7. Does this make 2 left and right mono channel? Meaning, will it make exact same left and right channel like you can do in Zoom Hn4?

A: Yes.

Q: 8. What is the Bit-depth and Frequency that it records at?

A: That is dependent on the recorder being used with this capsule. When using this with the H5 or H6 recorder, you can record at 24 bit, up to 96k sample rate.

Q: 9. When using this in RAW (mid and side recorded separately, to balance later in post, rather than blending while recording) on the H5, can the H5 still record a second back-up track at reduced gain? From the little I've read on the tech of mid-side, I'm thinking it could work: capsule's stereo file 1 of 2 is mono-mid on left channel and mono-side on right channel, leaving capsule's stereo file 2 of 2 to record same at -12dB. Good guess, or wishful thinking?

A: Yes!

Q: 10. How well does this unit handle very loud low-end frequencies aka lots of bass? I have an event that needs to be recorded at the highest quality for the least amount of cash. Or does anyone have any other suggestions for a field recorder that has the highest quality recordings to price ratio? Thanks!

A: I haven't used it in those situations you described. I use it mainly for weddings. Vocally its bang on and is very clear and great crisp sound.
