Equipped with a front-mounted F360 RGB Core fan, you get enhanced airflow in a single unique design. Consisting of three separate fans, the F360 RGB Core offers up to 1700 rpm, 50.1 CFM, and a low-noise operating level of 23.3 dBA, giving you enhanced performance without distracting you from your games and media.

Gain instant access to the front, side, and top panels with the H5 Flow's unique tool-less design. Easily pop the panels off so you can upgrade your cooling and access difficult-to-reach places. Additionally, a 1.1" cable management space makes maneuvering your wires easy.

Ultra-fine mesh panels found at the top, front, and even the PSU shroud optimize airflow from all angles, allowing your resource-demanding hardware to operate at full load without worry.

Designed to accommodate a variety of fans, the H5 Flow optimizes your layout with multiple locations and options. The front panel supports either three 120mm or two 140mm fans, the top supports two 120mm fans, the rear supports a 120mm fan, and the inside shroud can support up to two 120mm fans.

Install a variety of radiators in the H5 Flow with support for radiators up to 360mm at the front panel, 240mm on the top panel, and 120mm on the rear panel. If you have low-profile memory, you can install top-mounted radiators up to 280mm.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can the back-up recording be used for any inputs or does it have to be only for the L/R mix?

A: The back-up recording is only for the L/R mix.

Q: 2. Can Zoom H5 use a mono mic and convert to stereo automatically, if both channels will be used as same, left and right?

A: The signal will not be converted to stereo but to two channel mono.

Q: 3. Can you record line level signal with the 2 XLR's?

A: Yes as long as you switch them to line level You will have line level, mic level and instrument level.

Q: 4. How well does this unit handle very loud low end frequencies aka lots of bass? I have an event that needs to be recorded at highest quality on a budget. Or any suggestions which field recorder would do the highest quality job for the lowest price? Thanks!

A: I cannot speak to the frequency response of the built in mics. I have mainly used the unit with external mics and also have yet to do any music recording. The dialog that I have recorded is exceptionally clear and full frequency. (as full as the spoken word becomes)

Q: 5. Can this be combined with the Zoom EXH-6 to give it a total of 4 XLR inputs?

A: Yes, you can use the EXH-6 module with the Zoom H5 to enable recording of up to four external mic and/or line level signals simultaneously.

Q: 6. What is the Bit-depth and Frequency that it records at?

A: That is dependent on the recorder being used with this capsule. When using this with the H5 or H6 recorder, you can record at 24 bit, up to 96k sample rate.

Q: 7. What is the Signal-To-Noise Ratio for this?

A: At this time, the SNR is not specified by the manufacturer.

Q: 8. Does this, like the Zoom SSH-6 Stereo Shotgun Microphone Capsule, allow the H5 to record in RAW, to allow mid-side balance in post?

A: Yes!

Q: 9. This zoom mid side microphone while looking like the one in the box for the h6 is a specifically mid side microphone, and is therefore a solution ? Just looking at mid side processing, and this is a appropriate solution? Stefan....

A: This mid side capsule works with the Zoom H5 and H6 portable recorders, and features two mic elements - one is a middle unidirectional mic that faces forward and one bi-directional side mic that is perpendicular to the first. This set-up enables the "mid-side" recording style, where signals from the center and ambient sounds from the sides can be combined to make the stereo image more narrow or wide.

Q: 10. I heard bigger SD cards have slower start/boot times. what SD card does everyone use? how many gigs and brand? how long was the start up time?

A: Start-up time can vary from a few seconds to a minute or more. Stay with SanDisk cards that are no larger than the project demands. Stick with SDHC cards no larger than 32GB. 16GB or smaller work well for most projects.
