The Cisco Business Dashboard is designed to manage Cisco Business switches, routers, and wireless access points. It simplifies traditional challenges in deploying and managing business networks while automating the deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management of the network. The 1300 Series switches support an embedded probe as well as direct management, eliminating the need to set up a separate hardware or virtual machine onsite. The device onboarding wizard simplifies the setup and onboarding of new devices to the network.

The Cisco Catalyst 1300 Series Switches support dual images, allowing you to perform software upgrades with minimal network downtime.

Support for advanced network security applications such as IEEE 802.1X and port security tightly limits access to specific segments of your network. Advanced defense mechanisms, including dynamic Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) inspection, IP Source Guard, and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) snooping, detect and block deliberate network attacks.

As the IP address scheme evolves to accommodate a growing number of network devices, the Cisco Catalyst 1300 Series Switches can support the transition to the next generation of networking. These switches continue to support previous-generation IPv4, allowing you to evolve to the new IPv6 standard at your own pace and helping ensure that your current network will continue to support your business applications in the future.

The Cisco Catalyst 1300 Series Switches enable a more advanced set of traffic management capabilities to help growing businesses organize their networks more effectively and efficiently. For example, the switches provide dynamic Layer 3 routing, allowing you to segment your network into workgroups and communicate across VLANs without degrading application performance.

This switch supports Front Panel Stacking for up to eight switches, allowing you to configure, manage, and troubleshoot all switches in a stack as a single unit with a single IP address.

The sleek and compact design for the Cisco Catalyst 1300 Series Switches provides additional deployment flexibility, including installation outside the wiring closet for sites such as retail stores, open-plan offices, and classrooms without disturbing the environment.

Q: 1. Am I correct in assuming that you can store digital photo images on these? And that they far and away surpass the 700mb? Thank you!

A: Yes, they hold up to 25GB of any kind of data you want to write to them (including photos). 25GB is about 25,000mb). However, be aware you will need a Blu-ray burner that supports M-DISC media to burn these discs. If you have a Blu-ray burner that doesn't specifically support M-DISC media, you may be able to download a firmware update from the manufacturer to support M-DISC media. If the drive doesn't come with burning software, you can get free software on the web that will do the job.We have found that these are a good option if your internet service (like ours) is insufficient to upload photos to cloud backup, as long as you have a place off site to store them (we put them in our safe deposit box). However, because these discs will hold A LOT of pictures, just make sure to create a folder structure/index that will allow you to find photos in the future (at minumum, by year and/or subject). A little planning before you create the discs will save you tons of time in the future in the event you need to use them to locate specific photos.

Q: 2. M disc

A: Yes, this is 25 pack spindel of M-Disc BDXL

Q: 3. What software do you use to burn onto these 100GB 4x Triple-Layer Blu-ray Discs? I have Toast Titanium 10 and it burns onto 50GB Dual Layer BDR no problem. Contacted Toast's phone support and said it is not possible to burn onto Triple Layer Bluray discs in general. :-/

A: We use imgburn to author and burn ISO files

Q: 4. I have a OWC Mercury Pro 16x Blu-ray, 16xDVD, 48xCD Read/Write burner #MR3UBDRW16...Will I be able to burn these 100GB disks with this burner?

A: This will work in your OWC drive

Q: 5. What unit/writer is required to “burn’/write these M-Discs?

A: Any Blu-Ray reader/writer that supports M DISC will be compatible with the Verbatim 25GB BD-R 4x M DISC with Branded Surface (25-Pack Spindle). For external optical drives, we carry the Pioneer BDR-XD07S 6x Slim Portable USB 3.0 Blu-ray Burner with M-DISC Support (BH #PIBDRXD07S). https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1520037-REG/pioneer_bdr_xd07s_6x_slim_portable_usb.html

Q: 6. How do you develop Quicksnap 800 Camera?

A: Most people would have the FUJIFILM QuickSnap Waterproof 800 35mm Disposable Camera processed at a Photo Lab providing process C-41 services. These labs can also provide printing and/or scanning services.

Q: 7. I'm new to archiving with MDiscs, what specifications should I be looking for a Blu-Ray Burner (other than M Disc Support) so that it would be compatible with this M Disc brand? Does the writer need to be BDXL compatible? Thanks in advance.

A: If you are wanting to get M-Disc support than your burner must support it. As well if you are looking to burn BDXL you burner must support this as well.

Q: 8. Can I connect my pioneer dj900 nexus mixer and Yamaha O1V mixer on 2 RDL-10 K, before entering the audio processorOr should I use the RDL-600? Better!?

A: We usually use these for summing stereo signals to mono. Very handy! The STD-10K is designed for combining or distributing consumer level audio signals, which often use RCA connectors (like DVD players, CD players, etc). The STD-600 is designed with the proper resistance for professional audio equipment, which typically uses XLR or TRS connectors. That DJ mixer has both types of outputs, but using the XLR outputs to match what the Yamaha is outputting is your best bet. Then they'll both be a good match for an STD-600. The device the signal is going to should also have a professional type input.I think the RDL product sheet has some example diagrams for dealing with a variety of balanced and unbalanced connections.

Q: 9. Can you use it to back up less data than 100 GB and later add more data to it, or do you have to wait until you have 100 GB (or so) of data and then burn it all together?

A: Using a program that allows for multi-session discs, yes, you could add to it but keeping in mind that you won't be able to read that disc until the session is closed.

Q: 10. Does this type of disc support 4K exports?

A: It can support files of up to 100GB in size.
