I bought this filter at the time I purchased my Nikon 16-35. I like that it is a slim filter, ideal for use on an ultra-wide lens. I think this line of filters is the best combination of quality and price. I will buy these for all of my new lenses to keep that front element safe. 5

I use this particular filter primarily for protection. Ignoring the debate about whether it's necessary or not I find that this filter does not have any adverse affects on the quality of my photography. The threads are a high enough quality that the filter is easy to put on and take off. I would recommend this for any photographer. 5

Great filter so far. The actual lens coating looks high quality, and I haven't seen any vignetting yet.. The finish on the metal however has rubbed away a bit where the lens cap sits on the inner threads of the front, no big deal, just very slight cosmetic stuff. I don't have that problem on my 72mm filter of the same model though. I use it on my Canon 100mm Macro f/2.8L 5
