The Rode TX-BELT is a beltpack wireless transmitter designed to provide easy and secure transmission of wireless audio for videographers, filmmakers, and electronic news gatherers. It works with RODELink digital wireless systems and can be powered via two AA batteries or a micro-USB connection.

An internal antenna contributes to the compactness of the TX-BELT. It can be attached to a belt, strap, or clothing via the belt clip. Note: Each RODELink system creates a wireless peer-to-peer connection allowing the transmitter and the receiver to operate as a pair. This means that the transmitter can transmit audio to only one receiver at a time. Conversely, the receiver can only receive audio from one transmitter at a time.

A: You should be able to use it fine, I use a similar mic with the Rode blimp and pole and it holds it fine, even at max extension. The pole is really sturdy.

Q: 5. Is there a technique to prevent hearing the adjustment of the boom pole when recording? I use a Rode NTG2 with a shock mount, and every time I adjust it, I can hear squeaks through my headphones.

A: Not that im aware of, the shockmount have to be really good to lock out that. I got the Rycote, it still pics up every single tap on the boom.

A: Yes, it can. I had the same problem. Contact Rode directly and they will send you a replacement part.

Q: 9. Can the ntg3b plug directly into a Sony a7s2? Or is the ntg4+ the only one with a built in phantom?

A: The NTG-3 requires an external phantom power source and is not directly compatible with the a7s2. The Rode NTG-4+ features a built in rechargeable battery that will allow for direct connection to the camera as well as the Rode NTG-2 which is able to accept a AA battery for power.
