A: Hi Christopher. Our PL Mount adapter is engineered to the industry standard PL flange depth of 52mm, so sensor coverage is entirely dictated by the rear element of your lens. For instance, if you are using a Super 35mm lens in Full Frame Mode on your camera you may not cover the sensor and will need to shoot in crop mode. Older 35mm format lenses such as standard and super speeds are less likely to cover the sensor than newer lenses such as Zeiss CP.2 or Canon Cine Primes.

Q: 4. In case of mounting this gear, and working with the CP2 PL on the SONY A7S2 , do I loss the FULL FRAME potential of the captor ?

A: The PL is positioned at standard PL focal distance and coverage is not determined by the mount, but by the rear element of the lens. You will need to confirm FF coverage with Zeiss or test.
