Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can you attach a background on the front and the back at the same time, allowing fast switching between colors by flipping it around?

A: No.

Q: 2. Is the fabric flame retardant?

A: No. Please review what items we have in hand. https://bhpho.to/3BNp0nA

Q: 3. What are the individual panel sizes? And is there any 3rd party fabric that would fit on those side panels separately? In case not connecting it all together...

A: Each portion of the panel would be 4.3 feet wide by 7.5 high. Unfortunately, the frame is only compatible with the specific Manfrotto 13 ft fabrics for it.

Q: 4. Can the stiff hood be taken off?

A: No, its permanently attached.

Q: 5. What's the diameter of the frame tube?

A: As per Manfrotto, the frame included with their Panoramic Background is 1" in diameter.

Q: 6. Can the angle of the panels be changed (IE setting it up at 90 degrees)?

A: Although the angle of the panels can be set at a 90° angle, this would cause the frame to collapse.

Q: 7. Will a medium format camera (phase) fit inside?

A: Yes, the Manfrotto E-702 PL Elements Cover will fit a medium format camera. (phase)

Q: 8. How do I mount the camera in the E-702 elements cover?

A: Undo the long line of velcro. Place your camera into the clear plastic area lens first. Guide your lens through the tube. Their is another velcro which you will fasten around your lens. Fasten the long line of velcro to seal your camera inside. Your hands go in on each side to access the camera. It can be awkward with your camera strap as it will project out through the line of velcro. I imagine if you are set on a tripod you can remove the strap to make everything well sealed. I hope this helps.

Q: 9. Is there a stand in the box

A: The Lastolite Chroma Key Blue Cover listed here is just the background fabric which fits the 13' frame. The frame is not included. If you are interested in a frame and fabric combination, check out the the Lastolite Panoramic Background Kit listed under the "accessory" tab.

Q: 10. how to store this cover without damaging the plastic? just folding it would leave marks and eventually crack the plastic wouldn't it?

A: Sorry I can't help - it hasn't rained much and I haven't had the cover out yet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great camera to use for my office during Teams meetings. My favorite features are when i move the camera slightly moves as well to keep me in the center of the screen and the easy open/close twist shutter

Bought a second plate so I can keep one on the 200-500mm lens. Surprisingly strong, holds the big lens and D750 even when rotated 90 degrees for portrait orientation.

I bought this cover when Kata had the distro license - 5 or more years ago. Now Manfrotto makes it, but I would buy this again and again for every camera I own. Yes, it is awkward at first, but I shoot in rain, snow and on sandy beaches. In all cases, putting this cover on as I head outdoors in bad weather, or to the beach, has save my camera and lenses more times than I can count. You have to get used to leaving one hand 'inside' the bag and moving the other in and out. If you like 'live view' or shoot lots by using the back screen, then it may be awkward. I shoot viewfinder unless I am at an angle, on a tripod that's oddly positioned, or at an impossible height. Of course, with most wifi cams you can focus or aim over wifi if you are on a tripod. Handheld you have to get used to looking through the thick plastic, but this is the best protection around if you plan to be out in dicey weather.

...as expected. Not much to say about a release plate...it either fits the tripod or it doesn't. This one replaced a lost plate on my Manfrotto tripod. Good product.

This is identical to the plate that came with my tripod. Now I can switch cameras out without changing the quick release plate. This makes shooting out in the field so much easier.

Like the high end materials that was used. Works very nicely. And like how you can use a flash in this rain cover

This is a long strap that allows me to push the camera behind me. Just the part that goes over shoulder is padded while the rest of the strap is conveniently lean and comfortable especially while carrying two bodies. It is very easy to remove the strap without getting entangled. Attaches directly to camera hence less likely to snap.
