Excellent size at a great price, not SSD, mechanical, still relatively fast over USB 3.0. Great product. Will buy more. 5TB for 100 dollars is a steal... usually it's like 100 dollars a TB. 5

I purchased it just for the aesthetics, and it does’t disappoint. Although it is bigger than most external hard drives in its class, it’s a price I’m willing to pay for its rugged looks and feel. It’s advertised for gaming, but I use it for backing up photos and videos. Overall would purchase again. 5

I purchased 4 (2 from B&H) of the 4T's and one 2T. I used them to archive 30+ years of digitized video and photos. I gave them as gifts to my children. And condensed my computer files. I chose the WD_Black because of the speed, the space and the physical size. Loading was simple. It took about 7 hours to load the 2T, and approximately 13 hours for the 4T's. No DOA's. No; stutters or cliches during the loading process. All went seamlessly. Hopefully, the drives will last for years and give my kids as much enjoyment as I had watching them grow into adults. 5
