A: Yes, but you will be able, by default, only to read info from this drive. This is because it is formatted in Windows NTFS file system and MacOS by default only reads it. You will need to, or reformat it to HFS+ (MacOS Native file system format) or to install a software that adds to MacOS the capability to write on it, just like Paragon NTFS for Mac.

Q: 7. Could I use this device with an iPad so that as I shoot video with the iPad, the video goes directly to the wireless HD, in a sense by passing the iPad? Would I need an FTP app for that? Thank you.

A: By nature of iOS you can't shoot directly to the wireless HD. You can however transfer using the WD app to the drive after you shoot the footage.

Q: 9. I used this 1T Western Digital on a recent trip to back up my RAW plus jpg images and to also view the jpg files on my iPad. I was not able to figure out how to get the images to save to camera roll on my iPad. I could only get them to save on the mobile ap for the WD drive called My Cloud Has anyone figured out how to save to camera roll?

A: It does not appear WD provided an option to export to the camera roll.

Q: 10. How loud are the fans in this unit?

A: Philips has not published any specifications regarding fan noise for the Philips PicoPix Max E-Shift Full HD Portable Smart DLP Pico Projector (BH # PHPPX620INT). The fan speed is automaticlly controlled based on the internal temperature and is very low to he almost inaudible to most users.
