Having used standard circular diffusers and reflectors, I am much happier with this product. The effect is the same, but the triangular shape of this item is what makes it so great. It offers a nice hand held grip and the triangular design makes the item much sturdier when being hand held. The item does not get flimsy when rotating for that light that is just right. It's especially great if you're shooting without an assistant. I can hold the diffuser comfortably with one hand and camera in the other.

Use outside or inside - works well with their stand adapter. Does everything you would expect - nice fill - easy to use.

This is my first diffuser purchase and I couldn't be happier. Previously the only diffuser I had tried was a circle one of the same size while assisting another photographer. Boy am I glad to have found this one! It can be held easily with one hand unlike circle diffusers that require two hands. I also love how easily it folds back up to go into the bag. I simply watched one of the videos on the Lastolite website that showed two ways to fold it up and I've never had problems. The product is very well made and is durable. It has a nice big handle with loops to put your hands through that can be tightened to help you hold it. I definitely plan on buying more of the Lastolite tri-grip diffusers and reflectors after having so much luck with this one.

Just try this with a speedlight shoot through like an umbrella. With a VAL the combo is great. I have the 8 in 1 kit and now can use both with different sleeves to get some cool effects.

Every serious photographer should have one of these in there bag, diffuse harsh sunlight or fill shadows this thing is great and easy to use.

I can hold the diffuser comfortably with one hand and camera in the other. Although if I would likely recommend the 30 for one-handed use. The 48 is bigger and gets a rather heavy used one handed.

I use this product to diffuse harsh sunlight and also use it as a shoot through with my speedlights. I love the portability of this tripgrip and once folded, I carry it via carabiner hooked on to my camera backpack. I definitely recommend this to anyone who likes to shoot portraitures in the outdoor settings. If you buy one, you'll want more!

I was looking for a diffuser that would be easier for my wife to hold instead of the 42 round one I'm currently using. This fits the bill and I could also hold it with one hand and shoot with the other (or clamp it to a stand with a superclamp.)

Thr triGrip diffuser 30' by Lastolite, is a wonderful addition to my photo studio gear. How did i shoot portraits before i had this diffuser. The quality of lighting it adds is mind boggling. Love it love it! ! ! LParpard/Parpard Productions.
