I use these to store battery packs, chargers, spare batteries and other items that I don't normally bring in my backpack or shoulder bag, but might need to carry from time to time. Helps keep me organized. Nice size and typical sturdy Domke construction. Easy to stuff in an duffel bag when traveling. Have not used it as a belt-bag so I can't comment, but it does include a shoulder strap which is handy.

For those times when I'm walking around shooting one body with two large lenses, I wanted a belt pouch that could hold the extra lens instead of having to carry even my small shoulder bag (depending on assignment, I shoot from a Domke F1X, F2, or F3X). This fits that need. For that, I don't need padding, but I added a small piece of impact foam to the bottom. Lenses slide well on the canvas; easy in or out. Still more room if I needed to carry something else, but that's not my purpose for this pouch. Material is stout and strong, as usual for Domke. Stitching is even. Made in the US, which I appreciate. Fair price and good value.

Fits on your belt and can carry a camera the size of a Canon 50D with a 40 mm pancake lense.

I had been looking for something a little smaller originally, but I saw this and thought it might be ok and having other Domke canvas bags that it would 'break in'. Its really just quite astonishing how Domke just gets it right from the get-go. Its a simple stiff canvas box with a flap which has a healthy wad of velcro. When its empty its crumply flat and when its full, itll take a small DSLR/mirrorless, a bag full of batteries, an audio recorder, a memory card case, a cliff bar and a phone charger plus a bit more too. In the back its got a metal O ring for sturdy connection or hanging, a belt flap and a pocket all in one, so you can put your papers, tickets passport or phablet, and nothing is going to fall out of it. I use it with a 1 inch clip belt that allows me to shunt it around my hip depending on what the activity is. Getting on planes with it is great because its so small, you can just wear it under a jacket and its not even considered a personal bag. In hot weather when its hell outside and all you are wearing is linen or a sarong, then this is mind blowingly perfect because its natural fiber, it wont irritate and if you give it a dedicated slim belt then you and move it around on your hip and you wont sweat under it. The flap is wide enough to keep out rain, theres enough velcro to allow it to be jammed full and still fasten closed. It has no padding, but you can easily cut a piece of high density packing foam and put it at the bottom which will give it some protection from a fall, but because its got both the belt loop and O ring, itsl unlikely to fall off your shoulder or hip. Its not a fully fledged bag, rather, a large pocket, so it begs different psychology. I dont know what else I can say about it. For $ its just too good to pass up.

Excellent bag for any photographer looking to keep all of they're small things in one easy to find place. Being waterproof was another reason I bought one. I recommend buying one from B & H as they're an excellent shop.

I downsized from full frame to M43 but still found that a kit of GF-1, kit 14-45 zoom, 45-200 and 7-14 zooms required a shoulder bag too heavy to carry comfortably all day, as I often do when hiking. I bought one of Domke's belt pouches to see if it could fit my M43 kit on the belt of my North Face mid-size pack. It worked, so I bought a second one. Both fit easily on the pack's belt, One carries the 2 zooms in their lens pouches. The other carries the GF-1 with kit zoom, 55mm ExpoDisc, 55mm polarizer,spare SD card and spare battery. Now everything is instantly accessible without having to remove the back pack, and the weight is where I don't even notice it. It has crossed my mind that the pouches lack padding, however, the lenses are in their own pouches, and I think that unless one falls hard on one's front there is little chance of equipment damage. There cannot be zero risk anyway.

Had something else in mind but it turned out better than expected.

Excellent build quality,enough deep pocket, I can put two water bottle or 70-300 mm,70-200 mm zoom,300 mm f/4,or 14-24 mm Nikon zoom or full dslr body attached pancake 40 mm, Pencake 50 mm lens, I uses with domke f6 bag ,perfectly match this domke f6 nice look too. I’ll buy more balance on my bag,two side is much better lot more roomer carry extra camera accessories or we need second ,third, camera body to hold space Now I don’t need bigger bag . I purchased the Domke Tech Pouch from B&H to keep track of small tools but I'm using it to carry Musical stuff. The pouch has become my Guitar accessory center. I play electric and acoustic music so I carry batteries, capos, slides, cough drops, picks, tuners, a strap and yes, small tools. Also, the pouch is padded slightly. A nice touch that wasn't mentioned in the description.
