The MAS 133 Inline Logic Box with XLR Mic In and Out with Switch by Sennheiser is for integrated microphone solutions. It is used in various environments for audio applications such as recording studios, conference room, board rooms and more. It features 2 XLR-3 connectors, one for in and another for output and one XLR-5 connector for the control switch. The MAS 133 is attached between the mic and mixing console and powers the MAS 1 microphone button (sold separately). Programmable operation modes include On, On/Off, PTT, and PTM. A TTL logic connection enables the user to trigger integration with media or camera control systems for various purposes. Mounting brackets and 4 recessed head screws are included.

Bought this mic to replace my aged Shure SM48s. It sounds better than the Shure, with more details in the mid and more open in the high. The switch is truly silent. Love it. Shure does a little better on handling noise isolation. 5

We use this in an 1100 seat venue as our media feed. The Pressmite does everything it should: provides clean signal to whatever is plugged into it. We have been using one for about five years now and no one has ever complained. 5

I have been using press boxes from different manufacturers for years and they all seem to have one problem or another. Sometimes the isolated outputs are not as isolated as they should be and one bad XLR cable introduces buzz and hum to the whole system. Other times the passive boxes just don't output a usable level. The Whirlwind PRESSMITE, however, seems to work perfectly. It comes with both a power supply and battery power options so it can be used everywhere. It has a switchable line/mic input and can provide phantom power. It is also the first one I have used that has a headphone out so you can check the output during setup. I have only used it a few times since I purchased the unit but it will be my go-to box for the foreseeable future. The one downside is that it only has two line outputs. I would like a few more but it is not really a big deal given that I more often use the mic levels anyway. 5

Having a Active model like this Whirlwind PressMite takes the guess work out of it as this one takes Mic or Line in & is adjustable .... I'm glad I didn't go cheap on this ! 5

Very portable and doesn't require power (2 9V batteries will work) so it goes everywhere. Easy to use, convenient headphone jack on the front. Second one I have bought. 5
