Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is the range of the microphone? 5 feet? 100 feet?

A: The DJI Wireless Microphone Transmitter for DJI Pocket 2 (2.4 GHz) will have a transmission range of less than 100'.

Q: 2. Does this mic give the left ear to one mic and the right ear to the other or does it do a mixdown into one mono channel?

A: Based on the description, this unit will output both sources to a mono input. This would suggest that both sources will be mixed together going into any device.

Q: 3. Does it work in the ATR 3350 Audio technica?

A: Williams recommends that the CLP090 be used with their MIC 054 and their MIC 090. I would go with the B&H#AUTCOLM10 and play it safe.

Q: 4. without the do-it-all handle, any other way to connect it to osmo pocket2?

A: For an alternate connection, you will need to purchase the DJI USB-C to 3.5mm Mic Adapter for Pocket 2 and Osmo Pocket (BH #DJOP35A • MFR #CP.OS.00000010.02) and can connect to the Pocket 2 via 3.5mm connection.

Q: 5. Is it compatible with DJI Osmo Action Camera?

A: The DJI Wireless Microphone Transmitter for DJI Pocket 2 (2.4 GHz) is not compatible with the DJI OSMO Action Camera.

Q: 6. My EW G3 SK100 Transmitter says it goes from 626-662 mhz, does this work? It only says 558 to 626 MHz frequency band.

A: This antenna will not work for your transmitter because it covers a different frequency range. You should be able to get the part you need from Sennheiser. They do sell replacement parts directly to customers. You can reach Sennheiser's US office by phone at 860-434-9190. Business hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM EST.

Q: 7. can we use this as the second transmitter for the Osmo Pocket 3 (in addition to the transmitter that came with the Combo pack)?

A: No, the DJI Wireless Microphone Transmitter for DJI Pocket 2 (2.4 GHz) is not compatible with the DJI Osmo Pocket 3. For the DJI Osmo Pocket 3, you will need the DJI Mic 2 Transmitter.

Q: 8. Is a pre-amp needed for use with a MAC MINI that has a pin port?

A: If the Mac Mini has a TRRS headset port then the EX-507XD will be compatible. I'm pretty sure most Macs (as well as iOS devices) do use this type of port, which is a headphone/speaker output and microphone input combo. In this case the use of a separate preamplifier is not necessary. The microphone input will be able to accept and amplify microphone level.

Q: 9. Does it have internal recording like the DJI Mic? Can I clip it in and use it as a recorder without connecting it to Osmo Pocket

A: Unfortunately no. The DJI Wireless Microphone Transmitter for DJI Pocket 2 (2.4 GHz) will not have internal memory for recording and will require the Osmo pocket 2.

Q: 10. I'm looking for the G2-C (518 to 554 MHz). I haven't had any luck. Does any here know where I can find it?

A: Yes, 518-554 is A band, not C as Gerald said. The antennas are the same between G2 and G3, requiring partial disassembly to reach a solder point internally. You can mix and match G2 and G3 equipment, but turn off the 'pilot' function on the G3. G3 stuff is still available, even though Sennheiser is on to G4 now.
