$306.00 $403.92

The medium-tall, C540 Holster Case from Kinesis provides a secure transport and storage solution for a full or large-sized DSLR camera, a vertical grip, and an attached lens. Lenses that can fit while attached to a compatible body range from an 18-55mm to a 70-300mm. This case allows the attached lens's hood to be placed in the reverse or shooting position depending on the length of the lens. A large front pocket can hold most shoe-mount flash units and a smaller pocket under the lid can be used to store small accessories such as lens cloths or memory cards. To help ensure that the compatible camera and lens combination are always accessible from the rear of the holster, a Kinesis V100 CameraCushion is included to provide elevation from the front of the case if necessary. This Kinesis holster is compatible with the Kinesis Attachment Tab System (KATS) for ease of use with Kinesis belts. Alternatively, generic belts up to 2" thick can also be used and built-in D-rings allow for attachment to a harness or shoulder strap.

0.4" of closed-cell foam on the sides, 0.2" on the rear lid, and 0.6" on the front of the holster cushion the camera and lens placed inside while a 500 denier nylon exterior provides water resistance.

When used on a waist belt, the optional Kinesis Y302 Strap Kit is recommended to prevent the top of the case from pulling away from the belt.

One pair of the Kinesis Siamese SlikClips is included to allow legacy Kinesis TwinBuckle accessory pouches to attach to one side of this holster case.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I have Nikon D850 with battery grip and L-plate, which measures 7" X 6.5". Will this fit?

A: Yes, a Nikon D850 equipped with a battery grip can fit into the Kinesis C600, but without an L-plate attached.

Q: 2. Any issues with strength of the plastic strip that the bottom tripod mount bolt goes through? It seems flimsy and my colleague has this same strap and his tore recently.

A: Hi Jason,The Nylon material used for the SpiderPro HS is a variant of the same material they use for zip ties - very strong but flexible. a perfect fit strength wise for a hand strap. Please inquire directly with Spider Holster if you have any issues or concerns in the future - we are very responsive on that end. Many thanks,S

Q: 3. Would it fit Sony 7R IV with Tamron 35-150 mm f/2 with a hood attached ?

A: Yes, Sony 7R IV with Tamron 35-150 mm f/2 with a hood attached will fit inside the Kinesis C600 Holster Case (Large).

Q: 4. Would this work well with a Sony A7Rii? I saw one reply about an X-T1 working with it, but people seem to complain it is a bit big to be comfortable with a Nikon D600 which is bigger than a Sony A7/Fuji X-T1.

A: Hi Andrew,Thank you for your question. As you may know, the XT-1 has the shutter right atop on the camera body, which makes it very difficult for ANY hand strap to work.. The SONY shutter is more in-line with pro dslr in terms of shutter position, and so will benefit from that, as the Spider HS was designed for PRO bodies. We think the sony A7Rii should work with the current Spider strap especially using it's vertical grip (the cam body is very small for handling, as you most likely know already). Spider is working hard on a hand strap solution that will be designed specifically and will accommodate all mirrorless cameras. hope this helps, thank you, S

Q: 5. What is the max load capacity?

A: I don't know what the load capacity is but I carry a Sony A77ii with a 500mm lens and an external flash with no problems at all

Q: 6. compatible E584 case?

A: Yes, this is compatible with the E584.

Q: 7. Does this product work with a battery grip on the camera? I have a Canon 5d MIV. Thanks!

A: I tried it with Nikon d750 with the battery grip, but it wasn't good enough, but with original body it is very good even with a heavy lens

Q: 8. How is the camera suspended in the holster? Or does it just rest on the end of the lens/hood?

A: It would depend on the length of the lens but in most cases the front of the lens touches the bottom of a holster case. The lens hood should be in the reverse position when put into a case.

Q: 9. What is the maximum waist size for this belt?

A: The belt fits waists 28 - 50 (71.1 - 127cm)

Q: 10. Is there any way to also use a neck strap with this? I'd like to be able to carry hands free between shots, but am not sure I'm ready for the holster

A: Paiwei has got it right, you can attach a strap that mounts to the tripod socket of your camera, like Black Rapid. click the link below to view the options; https://bhpho.to/30bqELy

Looking for alternatives to the default neck strap, I tried the SpiderPro holster system and really liked it. The camera is very secure when in the holster and my hands are free to do other things. I certainly hope the base plate can be compatible with arca type quick release system, so that even when I need to mount it to the tripod I don't need to switch the base plate.

I had a cheap strap that I had picked up for less that $10 so why would I spend so much money on a strap? So late one night I just randomly ordered this one. Usually late night orders require having to make the missus happy but once I put this strap on her camera, she loved it. I then replaced it on mine but that's a long story that hasn't ended yet. It's a great strap that is not only functional but also very comfortable. Pick it up!

Having the camera hanging off your waist (like a real gunslinger) is so much more convenient than slung across or in front of your chest, especially when wearing a photo vest full of lenses and other paraphernalia.

By far the best investment that I have made. The spiderpro dual system is a must if you carry two bodies and are a wedding photographer. It allows you to have your hands free and carry all the weight on your hips instead of your shoulders. Did a 9 hour wedding and my back didn't hurt one bit the next day.

I've been shooting professionally for 35 years. Never once considered anything but a shoulder strap to carry my cameras. An assistant of mine showed up with the SpiderPro dual camera system one day. We shot a bunch of run-and-gun projects together and I got to see first hand what a difference this system makes. So I finally bought one Never, EVER going back to shoulder straps. Yes, there are a few niggly shortcomings, but nothing worth mentioning at all... they are more things to get used to than problems. Considering how long I had been using shoulder straps for my camera work, the fact that I acclimated to the SpiderPro in just one or two shoots is an acknowledgment of how good this system is. I heartily recommend this to pro shooters who shoot on the move.

Ok, this has changed my photography life. I've been shooting professionally for 35 years and this changes everything for the better. There is a learning curve to get accustomed to this new paradigm, but muscle memory comes very quickly. By the end of my first day with the SpiderPro, I was sad that it took so many years until I was able to shoot like this. Totally worth the cost.

Just got this and haven't tried it out on a shoot, but it looks fabulous. The idea of not having heavy cameras over my neck is great. The service was terrific at B&H. Has been every time I've bought something from them.

I like this strap very much. It is comfortable and makes it very easy to hold the camera. I leave it on the camera all the time as it will not interfere with my tripod mount, my shoulder strap or the access to the memory cards.
