Q: 1. Can you quickly look up specific areas in the book (Is there a search function)?

A: Yes. Plus there's a link to the Index which at times is more helpful.

Q: 2. What is the difference between the 3rd edition and the latest 4th?

A: Naturally, the basics remain the same. The photography and features available in the newer cameras have been worked in. I find this a great book to read, and re-read, even though I have been doing this for fifty years. I am constantly recommending this book and have several editions in my personal library.

Q: 3. Does this come with stereoscopic (red and blue) paper glasses or do I need to buy some separately?

A: The book does not list that it comes with any glasses.

Q: 4. For zoom lenses, do you need to only calibrate the lens at one focal length or should you calibrate the lens at transitional points (24, 35, 50, and 70mm for a 24-70mm zoom)? If so, is the in camera's CPU smart enough to blend the "different" calibrations as the lens is zoomed.

A: It is best to calibrate the lens at most focal ranges to get maximum calibration. Some lenses don't marry up the same with all cameras, so it is best to calibrate at most ranges.

      Q: 5. Can it work with canon 70-200 f2.8L + 2X extender?

A: It should but I would check the website.

Q: 6. Will this Work for Nikon 80-400G lense

A: Yes, it works with the 80-400mm.You'll need a sturdy tripod (I used a gitzo series 3) and good light. Other than that, follow the distance guide from the focal website, which is about 26ft from a 150mm target. It is harder to get the target setup initially at 400mm, but works fine.

Q: 7. Can the software be downloaded to a MacBook without CD-ROM drive??

A: Yes, the software can be downloaded. You would just type in the registration key after download and you would be all set.

Q: 8. I read that this book is written for Apple users, not Windows users. Is this true? Does it matter? The source said many of the pull down instructions are Apple specific.

A: I teach Lightroom in seminars and photography schools. Scott Kelby's Lightroom book is the best that I have ever seen in helping someone understand Lightroom. The book is suitable for BOTH MAC and PC users. Scott always gives references on how to do things for either format. (Frank www.studio63.us)

Q: 9. how can i put on this computer my lightroomm from another computer?

A: E-books can be uploaded to the iCloud in which the e-book can accessed on any device in which you are signed into the same iCloud account.

Q: 10. Will this work with a Canon 70D and Sigma lenses?

      A: I believe so yes.

Works just like the one I used to have, and I like the funny sounds to make people smile. It beats paying $125 for film for my 220 Land Camera!
