Quickly swap your Canon C80 or C400 cinema camera between rigs with this Arca-Type Baseplate from Wooden Camera. The baseplate features an Arca-type dovetail designed to work with the Wooden Camera Baseplate System for the Canon C400.

The camera mounts onto a standard or studio dovetail and features 15mm LWS rod ports to accommodate separately available rods. Tie-down screws allow you to adjust the baseplate when mounted onto a dovetail, shoulder rig, or bridge plate. The baseplate requires the separately available riser plate to mount it onto the C400.

Q: 3. thanks to mauricio for the answer and sorry to be thick. is there a diagram somewhere that could show me how to attach the bottom of the 2 pieces (receiver for the arca swiss QR plate). seems like i'd have to remove my tripod head and replace it with the receiver part? my tripod is a vanguard 263ap pro+ which has a pan/zoom type tripod head which i would not want to remove. anyone? thanks!

A: You would be able to mount it to the top of your current tripod without having to disassemble anything. You would be able to mount it to the existing 1/4 20 on the tripod using one of the 1/4 20 points on the receiver .

A: You should be able to secure a plate like the Kirk PZ-122 Arca-Type Compact Quick Release Plate in the SmallRig Quick Release Arca-Type Plate.

A: The Lower dovetail slot on the Wooden Camera 15mm LWS Baseplate for Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro is ARRI standard for attaching to compatible ARRI dovetails or the included Quick Dovetail. The lower dovetail slot works with ARRI standard dovetail plates.
