The SymplyLTO SAS XTH LTO-7 Desktop Tape Drive from SYMPLY features a desktop form factor with chassis that can support dual drive bays, although this configuration only has one LTO-7 tape drive connected via a SAS-8088 port to your Windows, Mac, or Linux system. LTO-7 media supports a native storage capacity of up to 6TB and data transfers of up to 300 MB/s, or, when using 2.5:1 compression, a storage capacity of up to 15TB and data transfers of up to 500 MB/s.

When I discovered I could put my movies onto a hard drive and watch them on my TV I was ecstatic. I got even more excited when I found the WD 1.5 TB for this incredible price. I've freed up so much space on my computers hard drive it works so much faster. Now I can take My Documents AND my movies anywhere and plug into any available computer and have fun. 5

I got this to replace old back up drive(s) since I have so much stuff it don't fit on no one drive no more - hence the 1 terabyte drive - it is nice, and lays flat so you can put other stuff on it like speakers etc. This drive seems nice I usually go with Western Digital because I heard from a guy in IT they were better at not failing. Peace! 5
