A: This item is a FANTASTIC viewer of reflected light materials, viz. prints. You could hold up a sheet of slides in front of it, but that would be clumsy. What you really need to view slides at 5500 deg. Kelvin is a proper LIGHT BOX, which will cost you a lot less. With a light box you can place your slides down on its plastic face and view nicely through a good loupe. As a category to search, look for LIGHT BOXES.
