Really convenient light kit for on the go shooting!

What an amazing set of lights. Great color ,96 cri. I'm so happy I got the kit as the carry case is super useful and the air cushion light stands are great. I'm super happy with these led's . You will be too.

So I haven't used these lights too much since I received them, but I am very impressed. They are bright, clean, and very well constructed. The case that comes with them is really perfect for anyone who shoots in different locations, and the battery powered functionality is flawless.

I wanted to upgrade from the 500 Watt tungsten bulbs I was using and looked into 1000 Watt fresnel options. I was led away from that direction because of he extreme heat, power usage and probable need for a circuit breaker for each light. I'm sure they are great pro lights but for my uses they wouldn't do. I shoot mostly interviews and TV pitches in smaller locations. I was reluctant to even consider LEDs because of the bad experiences I had with the inexpensive ones. I was told that these were nothing like them. The diffusion panel interested me because I wouldn,t need to consider further equipent and set up time. I was told that these lights won't produce the same tonal softness that fresnels would. Actually, I was pleased in the softness when I tested them even though it would not have been a deal breaker for me. I used them for one extensive shoot so far and was happy with the adjustable temperature since I had to match outside light. Also, the 1000 Watts (I bought 2 so 2000 Watts) allowed me to stop down enough to match the outside day light. They seem well built and I am very happy so far. B & H was great in taking the time to address my needs and suggest something that was right for me.

The Ikan LB10 LED light has been great. Have used this as my primary key light for corporate interviews on multiple occasions. It is not an item you rent out but for the self shooting looking for a cost-effective LED light, it’s great. You can change color balance from tungsten to daylight and the intensity of light also. The other addition of it bering able to run via batteries (VLock of Gold mount) is extremely handy and saves all that cable bashing onset or at small locations.

Easy setup, easy to use. Compact unit. Good light output. Love the amount of control it provides. It would be nice if it came with some gel filters, but those are easy to get. #sweepstakes

I've been shopping around for lights for quite some time until I stumbled upon the Ikan Rayden LED Panels. They're a terrific high-end/mid-tier option versus the LitePanel Astras which are quite expensive. The Rayden LEDs are plenty bright packed with loads of features I found myself using very often and the build quality is quite good.

The bi-color option makes these lights versatile in any situation. These have become the first lights I bring out for each shoot before our standard Arri Fresnels and Kinos. The remote has been useful for moments when the light is rigged overhead/out of reach and having the option to choose between the v-mount and gold mount plates has been extremely convenient. The included stands in this kit are very well constructed so I can save my c-stands and beefy babies for other uses.
The Lyra LED Panels are Ikan's softlight counterparts to the Raydens. I chose to go with the Raydens to give us some more flexibility in modifying the light. The build in clips on the barn doors have been super useful to attach diffusion and gels.

Overall, I'm very happy with these lights and would gladly recommend them for those that need an affordable, bright, and versatile lighting set-up.

Only issue - came with two carry bags, no instructions on assembly - one bag is very weird and not useful.

Mainly do office shooting but I needed ability to more easily break down equipment for on the go. This is a great, very durable light kit. Love the velcro straps that come with it to secure the power brick. Would have been nice to have in the instructions how to change out the gold mount port for the battery but in the end B&H crew were great for that. Love the adjustable light intensity and the fact the bi-color option is not one or the other but a variable dial between 3200 and 5600K.

One of my favorite lights I’ve ever used hands down. I used these to light up some scenes for a commercial we shot in a large mall that had daylight pouring into it. The output with both bi-color options were strong and consistent and we used the battery power option with both of the lights we had. We had to circulate batteries pretty often but nothing that impeded production where we had to stop just had to keep an eye on battery life but while we were switching through a lot of locations the batteries were extremely helpful.
