A: The W3 Universal Folding Dolly with 3 Wheels is an excellent buy BUT like anything else is never personalize to our particular needs. Coming from the old generation of photographers where we always jimmy rigged or modified so I went right to it. My needs were, I'm 5'5 and I needed the dolly to waltz room to room taking the least amount of space. So I shorten the dolly's extension by 3(at the base end not wheel end). Now I could have bought the Telescoping extension type from another model but I didn't want to fuss with other problems they may bring and when I setup the tripod and dolly it must be done quickly and seamlessly. Now for your answer, the dolly's sliders that clamp the tripod accommodate any height BUT the extended 3 inches at the wheels, I always banged my foot with it and man did it hurt. Decisions, decisions.
