Way more comfortable and holding up well after after 3+ years.

These pads provide an ideal depth for my ears, which increases the comfort, isolation, and audio quality. A necessary upgrade if you love your 7506's.

Professional use.

As the titles says, I had the velour pads by Auray on my MDR-V6's and they were excellent in comfort level in comparison to the stock earpads. But in terms of sound quality, the velour pads have little sound isolation because the pads put comfort over sound and with that being said, the V6's had a different sound because of the velour pads. Once I put these pads on them the sounds I never got with the velour pads started to show again. And another plus is the sound isolation is phenomenal! The gripe is, and is the same as the other reviews of these pads, is the installation is a pain because of the tight fitment. But that is something to look over because once installed, the headphones will have an amazing sound and isolation from the real world. No, it's not as good as active noise cancellation, but it is close.

But with the increase in comfort my V6's lost some sound quality because the velour pads had not so great isolation. That is where these ear pads come into play. Not only are they comfortable for long listening sessions, but the sound isolation is amazing compared to the stock ear pads and way better than the velour pads. And with the boost in isolation, the sound quality from the V6's has been boosted as well! My only gripe with these ear pads is in the same boat as the rest of the reviewers, the ear pads are a pain to install. But the installation process is minimal to worry about because the pads are so good once they are fitted onto the headphones.

Sony 7560's are great headphones, and these earpads make them better. The extra depth helps with comfort for extended use and extra isolation from environmental noise. I originally bought them to replace some older original pads, but I would upgrade to these on a new set because they are that much better.

nice cushy replacement pads, fit well on Sony MDR-7506's

Replaced old falling apart earpads. They fit well on the headphone, are very comfortable, look really good and restored the sound quality that had been lacking. Should have done this a couple of years ago :)

A little tricky to get on but once on the fit is very secure. Fits, looks, and feels better than OEM ear pads.

Bought the Extra Deep option and I am more than satisfied. Well worth the isolation and comfort I get from them during long sessions (3-4 hours). These pads are certainly higher quality than the flimsy plastic fabric that came stock with my 7506's, and should last longer. I use my headphones everyday for music, practicing guitar and keyboards, and gaming. I should also note that it was a challenge to fit onto the earpiece - the trick is to get a piece of plastic (I had a plastic pry tool used for electronics repairs) under the leather and gently work it onto the frame.
