Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How can you mount this to a 15mm rod setup?

A: Hi Michel. To mount this battery plate to 15mm rods, you would first need to attach it to our Battery Slide (a href= https://www.woodencamera.com/battery-slide-p/156600.htm target= _blank https://www.woodencamera.com/battery-slide-p/156600.htm/a). From there, you can install our Rod Clamp (15mm LW) (a href= https://www.woodencamera.com/rod-clamp-15mm-lw-p/150200.htm target= _blank https://www.woodencamera.com/rod-clamp-15mm-lw-p/150200.htm/a), which will allow you to slide the configuration onto 15mm rods. You can also consider attaching the battery plate to our Battery Swing (a href= https://www.woodencamera.com/battery-swing-p/245700.htm target= _blank https://www.woodencamera.com/battery-swing-p/245700.htm/a), which has a rod clamp pre-installed.

Q: 2. Can I attached the Wooden Camera UVF Mount to the SHAPE top plate for FS7?

A: This is an unknown combination that I am afraid that can only be answered by trying it. I would be of the opinion that you could fit either of the Wooden Camera pieces to the camera but not at the same time.

A: yes it does have a fuse.

Q: 4. Will this IDX V mount battery plate work with the SmallRig Battery Back (1547) that has the capability to mount onto 15mm rods?

A: Yes, this should work well with the SmallRig 1547 Battery Back with 15mm LWS Bracket, BH #SM1547.

Q: 5. Hey, are there two D-tap ports on this product? There are multiple websites claiming that there is only a single D-tap.

A: For nearly a year, all of our battery plates now come with two additional D-Tap ports. However, we at Wooden Camera are not aware of specific stock details at B&H. There is a chance B&H may have some older, single D-Tap versions in stock. I would recommend reaching out to their customer service team to confirm shipment of the dual D-Tap version, if you plan to make a purchase of this battery plate.

Q: 6. How can I put this plate on rails?

A: We do have this accessory here: https://bhpho.to/2NMgfQ3 . This will allow you to attach the plate onto the accessory and then attach it to the rods.

A: Sorry, no top cheese plate. What you see is what you get.

Q: 9. Does this have anyway of mounting it to a Sony PXW FS7 MK 2 without having to use rails?

A: As per the illustration in the 3rd image on the listing for the Wooden Camera Battery Plate for Sony FS5/FS7/FS7 Mk II & Panasonic EVA-1, you can see that a 15mm rod attachment is require for mounting this to a camera's rig.

Q: 10. Will the stated 18mm center-to-center distance for this piece allow me to mount it on the side of a Zacuto EVA1 top plate?

A: Hi Thomas, I believe we are speaking via email as well. 18mm center to center is an established standard so it should fit, but please confirm with the manufacturer. You may follow up by replying to my email if you have further questions.
