Embed a camera into your environment for security or industrial use with the WAT-07U2 Ultracompact USB Full HD B&W Camera from Watec. This ultracompact camera uses a 1/2.8" CMOS sensor with improved low-light performance and features a CS mount to accommodate interchangeable lenses. A built-in USB-B connector allows direct connection to your PC.

An internal image signal processor ensures stable and clear footage. Use the GPIO 2-pin port and EX cable to facilitate Snap Shot. The camera is capable of capturing up to 1920 x 1080 black and white video at 30 fps. Adjust various camera parameters like AE mode, AGC, sharpness, and backlight compensation using the Watec Camera Viewer software.

Q: 7. For live streaming Can you connect the usb directly to your laptop or Do you have to have game card reader(elgato or something else)? Using your 65' Usb extension, will there be a lapse in communications between camera and computer?

A: A capture card is not needed to live stream. Using the free Open Broadcaster Caster software to broadcast directly, you will be able to stream without a capture card. For a single USB 2.0 cables, the max length is 5 meters. For a single USB 3.0/3.1 cables, the recommended max length is 3 meters. In order to extend your USB cable length, we recommend using a self-powered USB hub, active (repeater) cables, or USB over Ethernet unit to extend the USB range.

Be careful!!! This mic picks up everything! I wish it was more directional but it still sounds wonderful. Make sure you adjust the incoming signal to your camera or smart phone so that it's not too hot. 5

Finally got around to testing this Mic. After adjustments to Mic sensitivity on my D7100, this worked great. I was narrating a panaromic video so I had the Mic facing backwards. Not extremely high winds, maybe 5mph. I have not used it indoors without the muffler but I expect it will perform as it did outdoors. The muffler is a bit of a challenge but still worth it. 5

This little mic blew me away. I originally purchased this for the Osmo but I now use it as a backup source sometimes on my DSLR. The sound quality is amazing and it definitely exceeded my expectations. 5

Got these to augment my DSLR audio chapture during weddings. They are a huge improvement over the built in mics. They don't need batteries or adjusting at all (since the cameras auto adjust audio levels), so it's pretty much plug and play. Also they come with really great wind jamers that do a great job of eliminating mild to moderate wind noise. If I had to nit-pick, I'd say the shock mount is the weak link of this system. It seems pretty cheap and when the mic is held in one position, the mount will sort of form to this position and say that way. It's not a huge deal, since I can bend it back, but it's indicative of a cheap plastic that may break after a while. But it is sepparate from the actual mic, so I'm assuming that I can buy another one if the original ever bites the dust. 5
