Available for download, Arturia Delay Eternity is a plug-in that provides a modern digital delay for use in DAWs. In addition to traditional delay effects, Arturia has packed this plug-in with modern features to suit both experimental and traditional producers alike. Whether you're looking to create traditional ping-pong delays or modulated resonating echoes, this plug-in has you covered.

Five modes are on hand for single, ping pong, pan, dual serial, and dual parallel delays. You can go for a natural repeat or repitch the sound as you see fit. Bitcrushers are on hand in the feedback path, as are three filters. Shape the input with low-pass, high-pass, and peak filters, and modulate it all with two LFOs, each of which have 26 possible dual destinations. If rhythmic effects are your fancy, you can make use of an envelope follower for dynamic modulations.

If all this seems like a lot, do not worry: the plug-in offers extensive presets, as well as built-in tutorials to get you up and running in no time at all. This plug-in is compatible with Mac and Windows operating systems, and it will work in the AU, VST2, VST3, NKS, and AAX Native formats.

Q: 1. So I just got my Quantum Instruments Turbo SC Battery Pack...I bought it to aide my Canon EL-1 speedlite. Was that a mistake? I connected it to the Speedlite and it did not power on the Speedlite... I need to find out if my EL-1 Speedlite also needs to have the battery inside it, too? even though it's connected to a flash Quantum Instruments Turbo SC battery pack? Does anyone know for sue? Thanks

A: One needs to have the battery in the Canon Speedlite EL-1 in order to power it with the Quantum Instruments Turbo SC Battery Pack for Portable Flashes (US / Canada / Japan Plug). The internal battery is always needed to control the Speedlite. One can then set in the custom setting what power source is used to charge the flash head for firing.

Q: 2. Can someone describe what is connected to each 1/8 in. connection (tip. ring, sleeve) in terms of signal, power, and ground?

A: A specific TRS input wiring schematic is not available for the Deity Microphones D-XLR 3.5mm to XLR Adapter with Phantom to Plug-In Power Conversion, however we can confirm that the D-XLR is compatible with microphones using the 3.5mm "Sennheiser" wiring configuration for compatibility. This adapter is not compatible with microphones wired for compatibility with Sony input connections.

Q: 3. Can this work on my Nikon 910 flash?

A: Per Quantum website, Turbo SC power pack with CKE long coiled cable may be used with Nikon SB910 .

Q: 4. Does this convert unbalanced TRS to balanced XLR?

A: TS connection mics are usually only compatible with the mic transmitters or mic inputs that they are made for specific compatibility with.

Q: 5. Is the internal battery removable? Can I purchase extra battery for more run time?

A: Hi Tim - the EKP Receiver for our AVX system has removable lithium-ion batteries that are easily swapped. The battery model number for the EKP Receiver is BA 20 - it has a 4hr run time and can be recharged to 30% in 15 minutes, 60% in 30 minutes, 75% in 40 minutes and to full capacity in 75 minutes. Additionally, the battery can charge while in operation, so you can use a power bank and a USB micro cable to extend the operating time.

Q: 6. Will this work with the Cos 11-D microphone with reduced sensitivity?

A: Yes, the Deity Microphones D-XLR 3.5mm to XLR Adapter with Phantom to Plug-In Power Conversion will work with the Cos 11-D microphone with reduced sensitivity without issues.

Q: 7. One thing that is kind of unclear from the overview, video and all sources I have read online is what powers the receiver. I understand that if you use it with the 3.5mm output for a DSLR you will need the supplied power pack. But if it is connected via XLR to a camera that supplies phantom power will it be able to work endlessly just from the cameras power or does it still need the power pack. The weight of the item is listed without the weight of the power pack. If you need this power pack even with phantom power through XLR, how much is the total weight with power pack?

A: The receiver has a small battery attached. This is the way it's powered. When the receiver is attached to an xlr connection and phantom power is switched on the unit will see the phantom power and shut off and turn on when the camera is turned off or on. The xlr on the camera Does Not power the receiver. It only acts to save the on board battery of the receiver when the camera is turned off/on. The receiver battery lasts for approx. 4 hours.

Q: 8. Can this be charged/powered by a regulated Dtap to microUSB cable (5v) like this one? GyroVu D-Tap to Micro-USB Regulated Adapter Cable (30")

A: Yes, that particular Dtap cable should work for charging the BA20 battery.

Q: 9. Can this handle line level input? (eg. Recording out of a mixing console)

A: Yes

Q: 10. Does the Quantum Turbo SC work with Nikon SB5000 speed light?

A: I don't see why it wouldn't so long as you can find the right cable. I use it with SB800 as well as SB26. The SB5000 appears to have the adapter port on the front.
