Support heavier lenses with your 15mm LWS rig by attaching the Wooden Camera Universal Lens Support. When connected to a cinema lens's support foot or a still photo lens's tripod collar, the lens support removes the weight stress from the camera's lens mount. Included with this support are 3 screw-on caps: one with a 1/4"-20 screw, a short 3/8"-16 screw, and a taller 3/8"-16 screw. For lenses that don't have a support foot or tripod collar, the included rolling y-bracket can be placed anywhere along the barrel of nearly any lens regardless of diameter. The rubber rollers allow the bracket to be placed on a rotating part of the lens, i.e. the focusing ring.

This is one of the best and most versatile supports on the market. Managing lens changes and all the ways you have to lock them down to exist in a full cine workflow can be a chore. Having a support that is not only well made but has a design that allows it to be a solid option for both 19 and 15mm rod standards AND having accessories and configurations that allow photo and cine lenses of any size that I have thrown at it, is VERY valuable. 5

I am using it with my Dzo Catta Ace zooms that have a thread. I can adjust the height to use this support in any rig I make. Also the U-shaped support allows me to use it with my vintage lenses without a threaded hole. 5

Works as described, helps keep a larger EF lens solid on the mount. Worth noting that the 2.1 inch adjustment is pretty considerable, so depending on your rig there may be some excess sticking out the bottom, making it tricky to rest the rig/camera on a table. 5
