This flashlight has all the bells and whistles anyone could want! Hardcore, durable construction. I am a serious hiker and fisherman and I’ve taken the light out several times now. I’ve dropped it on rocks, even in the water once. The reason I always come back to Coast products is their amazing durability! I’m hard on gear and my gear always has to work! Coast hasn’t let me down before and they didn’t let me down this time either. The one handed operations is perfect! Battery color indicator is a lifesaver! I also love the fact you can charge it up, use it and if you need, switch straight to batteries in an extra clip they provide! The price point is a little high but you get what you pay for! Another great job Coast!!!

I bought this not too long ago and as a diesel mechanic, I can't stop using it. It's small enough to fit into more compact areas, easily rechargeable and super bright. I can see everything under a truck with this flashlight.

I absolutely love this flashlight! This light has been fantastic so far. Great battery life, a rugged design and intuitive, quick light settings. The battery indicator in the switch is great for knowing just how long you can go and the screw style recharging port keeps out the roughest of dirt and grime. I got some oil on the end while adding some to the plane at night and not a drop of it got in, in fact, it washed right off. This light is built to last and is incredibly tough. The focusing beam is a huge plus as well and came in handy a few times. If youre looking for a light that will last and handle anything you throw at it, look no further. This is the light you want.

This light is awesome! I have a LOT of flashlights. Probably over 50! I have a very difficult time seeing in dimly lit areas. This light is probably my number one light now. The light output is incredible. It can light up an entire room from pitch black. It has 3 modes. I’m willing to bet, the middle mode is probably as bright as most flashlights. The high output is phenomenal. The turbo mode is insane. It takes the bright mode and boosts it even more. In my opinion, I have never seen a flashlight of this size deliver that kind of output. It’s small enough that I carry it in my pants pocket all day at work. I love this light

If you are looking for a compact flashlight that will light up whatever you point it at and is bright enough to blind an assailant, the XP11R is for you. I liked the way the on/off button on the end shows the amount of charge when turned on as well as being able to vary the intensity of light. The XP11R takes a minimal amount of time to charge with a USB cord and I liked having the option of using 3 AAA batteries in the provided adapter if needed. I appreciated being able to turn the sliding spot-to-wide focus barrel to the side to lock it in the position I wanted to use the flashlight in. While a little heavy for my wife’s bag, I found the compact light is great to take anywhere indoors or outdoors.

Yeah, this thing is probably the best one they sell. With the tail lit charging indicator to that 2100 lumen high mode, they nailed it with this one. Feels good in my hand and it's plenty solid. My A25R USED to be my favorite but this one has taken its place. I'm pretty harsh when it comes to my reviews because I want to know what I'm getting when I read someone else's review but I can't say one bad thing about this light after 6 weeks of putting it thru it's paces. And it's taken a few knocks in that time. A solid purchase, for anyone on the fence about pulling the trigger.

You will not find a better compact flashlight in this price range, anywhere! Just enough weight to feel sturdy while not being too heavy, well balanced, great size, and the power is amazing. The included battery option is a must for times when recharging the light is not possible. Charge indicator on the tail cap is a thoughtful addition and will undoubtedly be a game changer. This will be my go to light. I will probably pick up two more for Christmas gifts.

Over the years, I have acquired a number of Coast products and I've universally loved them. The XP11R is right up there with the best of them. Its solid, all metal construction is very durable and feels great in the hand. It is compact enough to drop in your pocket, yet large enough to house a good sized battery giving it a long runtime. The beam is powerful and easy to focus and I love the battery condition indicator on the tail-cap. I especially like that it has a USB-C charging port and it is the first Coast light I've used that does. I hope this becomes a regular feature of the Coast line as the USB-C connector can be inserted either way and is much easier to seat than the usual Micro-USB connector. We have a lot of power failures here and with Coast flashlights scattered around and kept charged, we've managed to avoid having to start up the generator for even long outages. That has been a huge benefit. Highly recommended.

With the included USB to XP11R charging cable, it wasn't long before the flashlight was fully charged. To expose the charging port, just twist the end cap. This is a very thoughtful design, as all dirt and grime can't get lodged in the charging port. Also, by not using a flimsy rubber cover over the charging port, which would be gone in a day, the charging port remains clean. Similar to other Coast flashlight, the sliding focus and lock are a breeze to use at any distance.

What would I change, mostly nothing, but the flashlight needs a Coast nylon black sheath to safely house and attach to your belt, so the light becomes an every-day-carry. I "borrowed" a sheath from one of my other Coast lights, and it fits perfectly.

So Coast, include a sheath with XP11R to complete what is otherwise a great product.

I got this light through the website & couldnt wait for it to get here.I was not disappointed!! The size & brightness makes it my newest go to flashlight which is a problem as i have many other lights from Coastportland & really like them all. This light is very well made & the 2100 lumens although temporary is a great feature.(just wish it was full time as i dont see very well) keep up with the great products & you'll have a lifelong customer.
