While some adapters may have a Dandelion Focus Confirmation Chip in the adapter, this does not transfer communication from the lens to the camera; it simply allows the camera to signal when the lens appears to be in focus by illuminating the Focus Confirmation LED in the camera's viewfinder (where applicable). No information for automatic exposure, automatic metering, or lens data information for lens correction profiles are added nor would be transferred to the camera.
