Q: 5. I just received this Thunderbolt 4 dock, but I really need more USB A ports. What options would you recommend for adding more ports? Could I plugin one of the OWC 14-Port Thunderbolt 3 Docks into this dock?

A: A basic 3 or 4 port USB hub can be daisy chained into the OWC Thunderbolt Dock

Q: 6. Does the dock work on Thunderbolt 3 PCs? Will it also work with non-thunderbolt USB C devices like the iPad Air?

Q: 9. MacBook Pro 16" Needs 96 Watts or it will not charge. Can anyone here comment if they have or know of someone that has been able to charge his MacBook Pro 16" with less then 96 Watts like from this Hub?

A: That may depend on several factors but Apple advises that you always use the correct power adapter to charge your MacBook Pro. From their support page, "You should use the appropriate wattage power adapter for your Mac notebook. You can use a compatible higher wattage power adapter without issue, but it won't make your computer charge faster or operate differently. If you use a power adapter that is lower in wattage than the adapter that came with your Mac, it won't provide enough power to your computer." That noted, you can use a lower wattage adapter (low to a certain point) and it will charge a MacBook Pro but slowly. In this case, the OWC "dock can deliver up to 90W" which is lower than the 96 W needed. Another thing to note is that not all Thunderbolt cables have the same power rating. We carry Thunderbolt cables with 10 W, 60 W, and 100 W ratings so you will need to look for that too.

Q: 10. Buying 2023 iMac M3. Is this a good fit for this computer or do I need to upgrade to another device?

A: That would depend on the type of ports you are looking for and the number of ports you need, but the OWC Thunderbolt Dock with Thunderbolt 4 Cable has a good number/selection of ports, so I think it would be a good fit for your 2023 M3 iMac.
