Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Has anyone use this transparency film on Canon Pro 10, for Kallitype printing?if yes..what paper setting i should choose and need to install ICC profile?

A: I should give it a go - I used mine in an Epson R3000 with no other profile other than the standard in-built Epson gloss setting and it seems to have worked perfectly first time. Whatever your canon has in it - or whatever your image program has as a default setting will probably work.

Q: 2. Is it TPS100?

A: I don't know. I don't re3ally understand the question.

Q: 3. Is this film is crital clear?

A: No! it has a milky look. For clear film consider getting the Inkpress Clear Film follow link: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/695513-REG/Inkpress_CF851120_Clear_Film_5_mil.html

Q: 4. Does anyone have experience using this film with Canon printers? I have a Pixma iX6820 using 250 (PGBK) and 251 (BK) inks, and want to make large cyanotype contact prints.

A: Yes, Pictorico works really well with canon printers! Works well for cyanotypes, vandykes, and gum prints!

Q: 5. Description says 100 sheets but the graphic says 10. Which is it?

A: This would be 100 sheets of film.

Q: 6. Is the end result opaque enough to be applied to a dark shirt or does it have to be used on just light color shirts or white ones?

A: I have not tried on a darker shirt. I would image not.

Q: 7. Is it totally clear or only opaque?

A: The transperency is clear, if you want opaque there is an inkpress opaque that is adhesive.

Q: 8. The Epson P600 says it doesn't print on transparencies. Will this product work on a P600? Epson has a list of printers that are compatible with transparencies and none of the printers I now use to print on transparencies are on that list and they print fine.

A: The Epson P600 does print on transparency film designated for pigment inks. The Pictorico Pro Ultra Premium OHP Transparency Film is specifically designed to be printed on Epson's pigment inks.

Q: 9. Can this be used in a laserjet printer?

A: Don't use in laserjet! It is not made to withstand the heat, but more importantly, it is so much more expensive than film made for laserjet printers. Go to an office supply store and buy avery or 3M film made specifically for laser printers or photocopiers (can be used interchangeably).

Q: 10. Can this film be used as direct duplicating film to create internegatives? Interested in film to be used in an enlarger to go from 6x6 to 8x10 negative for use in contact printing processes. Thanks!

A: The film is really for Line art. This is a good link about the film, https://bit.ly/3vpOeCk
