A: No, it is not compatible.

Q: 2. What kind of warranty/service comes from Zeiss with the lens, how many years of protection do they offerr? Do you recommend buying extra protection?

A: This lens would come with a 2-Year Warranty, Extendable to 3 Years with Online Registration. The add o warranty runs alongside the manufacturers warranty, but it would also cover drops and spills and world wide coverage

Q: 3. what is the warranty?

A: This would come with a 5-Year Warranty or 150 TBW

Q: 4. Well this work on dell Inspiron 3585 ?

A: Yes, it is compatible. See user manual pg. 44 https://topics-cdn.dell.com/pdf/inspiron-15-3585-laptop_service-manual_en-us.pdf

Q: 5. I am a serious panoramic photographer, my question is how is this lens perform the sharpness at infinity? i have a nikkor 55mm f/2.8, i don't like it perform at infinity. Thank you!

A: The ZEISS Milvus 50mm f/2M ZF.2 Macro Lens for Nikon F has remarkable sharpness performance when focused at infinity.

Q: 6. why is the milvus 50mm f/2M more expensive than milvus 50mm f/1.4 ? was thinking about buying, but dont know which one to get.

A: I'm pretty sure all macro lenses tend to be more expensive than their normal counterparts in the same focal length. This likely has to do with the focus helicoid it self being more complex since it needs to stay consistent throughout a considerably longer range. I chose it over the 50mm 1.4 because I needed the close focus ability for food shots and really like the recessed and smaller front element for backlit shots as well. So far this lens is a rock star, the build quality of this new line is peerless.

Q: 7. Is this compatible with the OWC Express 4M2?

A: Yes, the Samsung 2TB 970 EVO Plus NVMe M.2 Internal SSD is compatible with the OWC Express 4M2.

Q: 8. Is there any noticeable focus breathing when shooting video ?

A: 50mm lenses, even cheap ones, barely breathe at all. I would suspect you would need a laser microscope to measure the breathing on any Zeiss 50mm Milvus.

Q: 9. Is this the track and the legs for the tripod?

A: It is not. This product is just for the dolly with track wheels. The Tripod and Track are not included.

Q: 10. When is Zeiss going to make this for Sony FE mount?

A: We are not privy to Zeiss' FE lens roadmap or any info regarding the reengineering of the Milvus line. Please contact Zeiss directly or keep an eye out of news updates from them on their website. :)
