A: No, my 16-50mm kit lens has has a 40.5mm thread, but the ultra-wide converter uses a 49mm thread, as found on the Sony 16mm wide angle lens.

Q: 9. Can I attach a filter to the 16mm lens and then attach the adapter?

A: It is not possible to attach a filter to the 16mm lens and then attach the adapter because the adapter uses a bayonet mount that is built into the lens. It is also not possible to mount a filter onto the adapter (you may already know this). Bottom line - no filters with this combination. However, the quality of the image with the adapter is actually better than with the 16mm lens alone.

A: No they will not. This monitor is not capable of charging batteries.
