A: No. From the Sony website, the lens has a size of 3 1/8 x 4 3/8 . And you need to add the thickness of the two lens caps too. I would recommend buying the OP/TECH USA 3.5 x 6.0 Fold-Over Pouch, which is only $1 more expensive and cutting the length to perfect fit. Cutting to fit the length (with a pair of scissors) and re-stitching the top takes only a couple minutes. I did that to all my OP/TECH lens pouches.

A: I dont believe it would fit well. The length is ok but my lens is 2-9/16 dia. My lens fits snugly but without stretching and I dont recommend that the case be stretched to a lens which is 3.75 dia.

A: I sold this 70-200 lens (a less hefty non f/2.8 version) way back. I doubt that the heavy f/2.8 would fit friction-free in this when the huge hood (for the f2.8 II) is also attached backward. Hope this help
