A: No screwdriver slot. I don't need it. Hand tighten is enough. The knob has cross-hatch scoring on it to get a good grip. If you need more try pliers and a cloth to protect the finish on the knob.

Your typical action cam comes with plastic thumbscrews, which are okay at first, but tend to break sooner or later. �These solid metal Revos are much better. 5

Purchased for son's ski action GoPro set up with chest harness to match his helmet color. Recent trip showed function of screws more worthy of praise. The large screw size allowed easier adjustments in cold weather with ski gloves than stock screws. Adjusting with glove liners was as easy as with bare hands , given the larger diameter of screw ends. I will buy a set for me when I upgrade to Hero5. 5

So far I was troubled with original loose screw for GoPro type camera stands/holders, I just tried this one. This is really good, tight enough to fix the camera angle on GoPro camera mounts. 5
