This B-mount, 275Wh Helix Max 275 Lithium-Ion Dual-Voltage Battery from Core SWX features simultaneous 14 and 28V dual-volage capabilities for a complete onboard system with high-voltage performance. A maximum load of 20A at 16.8V or 10A at 33.6V makes this battery ideal for powering more demanding equipment builds in cine and broadcast applications.

Helix Max series batteries draw minimal current at their maximum voltage, creating less heat and extending the runtime and longevity of each battery. D-Tap and USB-A outputs power other accessories from monitors to mobile devices. An integrated LCD screen monitors runtime and total battery percentage, while built-in camera communication delivers this data directly to your viewfinder. Wrap-around 3-stage LED indicators provide a secondary way to monitor battery life and charge status. An improved polycarbonate housing is shock-absorbing for maximum durability.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is it recommended to charge only with Core chargers? Or are any other v-mount charger suitable?

A: We recommend that you charge these batteries with Core chargers. Core Chargers have firmware built into them that help maintain battery health extending the batteries lifespan. Core doesn't prevent you from using other chargers but you get better and more consistent results using Core chargers.

Q: 2. Does this battery have over discharge protection (protecting the battery from getting too low)?

A: Battery chargers have the overvolt protection generally, not the battery itself. The Core SWX Hypercore NEO 9 Mini 98Wh Lithium-Ion Battery (V-Mount) does not have undervolt protection.

Q: 3. What's the differences between this and regular Core SWX Mach4 4-Position Charger besides all the software part?

A: The features the Core SWX Mach4 Micro Four-Position Battery Charger (Gold Mount) BH #COMACHQ4MAI adds over the Core SWX Mach4 4-Position Charger with 4A Rapid Charge (Gold Mount) BH #COMACHQ4A is an LCD screen, cloud-based VoltBridge Mesh, adaptive charging, safefly standalone discharge, and a power supply mode.

Q: 4. What's the proper storage level for these? 30% charge? 50% charge? 100%?

A: the recommended storage level for most lithium V mount batteries is 20%-30%

Q: 5. Does anyone know if these batteries can power an Amaran 300 C battery when used with the Aputure two bay inverter?

A: No, the batteries in the Core SWX HyperCore NEO 150 V-Mount 2-Battery Kit with GPM-X2S Dual Charger kit do not have high enough amperage to power the amaran 300c RGB LED Monolight (BH #AM300C). I suggest using the Core SWX Helix Max 275 Lithium-Ion Dual-Voltage Battery (275Wh, V-Mount), BH #COHLX275MXV, instead.

Q: 6. Can this charge batteries larger than 98Wh? Like the Core SWX Helix XL 293Wh Dual-Voltage Battery (Gold Mount)?

A: Yes, The Core SWX Mach4 4-Position Charger with 4A Rapid Charger will allow charging of Gold Mount batteries over 98wh. It would support the Helix XL 293wh GM battery as well.
