To address the particular demands of hunters, birders, and outdoor enthusiasts—especially those who glass across vast distances like the prairies of the American West—Celestron offers the 10x50 Nature DX Binoculars. They deliver bright high-contrast images with accurate true-to-life color and crisp clarity even when observing from long distances.

To achieve this optical performance, these binoculars feature antireflection fully multicoated glass lenses with phase-corrected BAK4 roof prisms. The angle of view is generous, and despite the powerful magnification, these binoculars can focus as close as 8.2 feet for observing nearby birds, insects, or flowers. Additional features like a long eye relief and wide exit pupils improve viewing comfort while reducing eyestrain, so long glassing sessions are more pleasurable.

The binoculars' chassis is made of lightweight, durable polycarbonate, and the optical tubes are nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to make them waterproof and resistant to internal fogging. For those long days in your blind or in the field, or if you just want to eliminate arm fatigue or hand shake, the Nature DX binoculars can be tripod mounted using an optional adapter.

Q: 4. For moon and stargazing, what reasonable tripod would you recommend to use with the Pentax 10x50 SP WP ?

A: To mount the Pentax 10x50 S-Series SP WP Binoculars on a tripod one needs an adapter like the Pentax TP-3 Tripod Adapter (f/ Binoculars w/ a 1/4"-20 Threaded Tripod Socket), BH #PETAPCFQ (https://bhpho.to/3avpVxS). Q: 6. My husband and I are going on a safari and these binoculars were recommended. Are they a good fit for safari or should I be looking at others?

A: I bought a pair of these two years ago, mostly for use at our country retreat outside Ithaca, NY. Deciding factor was the close focusing ability, though they are fine at a distance, as well. They seem virtually equal to a pair of Eagle binoculars I got for a birthday present some six years ago. Only thing about roof prisms is they provide less stereo separation at a distance. But issues like color fringing, collimation are negligible. A very good value. Was just watching a flock of cedar waxwings eating hawthorn blossoms with gusto.

Q: 7. Are the optics on this binocular glass or plastic?

A: Great binoculars, feels like glass, but not sure. You'd be better googling it or asking the supplier sorry.

Q: 8. What color are these binoculars?

A: They are a dark green color.

Q: 9. Where is the serial number ? I can't find it at the binoculars.

A: It is on the side of the eyepiece.

The length of the warranty is mention in that section. A new Nikon binocular would have: Limited Lifetime Warranty on the Optical System Limited 7-Year Warranty on Non-Optical Components.
