The Vello diffuser is a nice and economical unit, easy to mount on any speedlight, and compact enough to fit in little space. 5

It takes a stretch to get on a Canon 580EX II. Once on, it works as well or better than more expensive diffusers. I've only used it indoors and tilting the flash head up at a 60-75 degree angle seems to work best. 5

This unit is simple and straight forward to use. Simply slide it over the flash unit and strap the Velcro pieces together. The light becomes soft and diffuse. Works especially well on older small hot shoot style flash units. When not in use it can be flattened for easy storage. Made of good fabric and seems to have quality stitching all around. 5

Why wouldn't you get this? For anyone new to flash, this thing makes the light so much more pleasant. They say the best approach to flash is trying to do it in a way that doesn't make it immediately obvious that a flash was used. This product makes that possible. Depending on the size of the flash it may be a little annoying to equip without a 3rd arm. You have to stretch it quite a bit but once it's on it's on. 5

Works very well on my Sunpak PZ42X. Easy to use, but it is a tight fit to install on the flash. 5

Carry this light diffuser every where. It is light and cheap. Goes on easily (with 2 hands) and it doesn't mark up the flash head. It is as effective as many other light diffusers that cost a lot more money. 5
