The ANNY BP from LD Systems is a wireless bodypack transmitter designed for use with ANNY 10 and ANNY 8 PA systems equipped with the ANNY R wireless receiver module. The transmitter operates in the 512 to 542 MHz band in the UHF range and features 10mW of RF output power, helping to ensure reliable performance at a range up to 262'. Its 3-pin mini XLR connector (TA3M) supplies 5V plug-in power and accommodates a wide range of compatible lavalier and headset microphones (available separately), including the WS 100 MH 1 headset from LD Systems.

The unit syncs quickly and easily to the receiver via infrared and will run for up to 8 hours on the 2 supplied AA batteries. A status LED glows white when switched on and red when the battery is low. The power switch also provides a standby function for temporary muting, ideal when you want to take a quick break without having to switch the unit off completely.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is there a way to use this on an a7siii with the xlr-k3m adapter?

A: The receiver in this Sony wireless system will connect to the Sony XLR-K3M audio adapter, using the included 3.5mm to XLR-male output cable. This would be an excellent wireless audio solution for the Sony a7SIII camera.

Q: 2. How to adjust volume on actual mic

A: At this time, we can not find an available manual for this item to guide you. In general for most wireless systems, there should be a level control option in the menu of the receiver where you would adjust the output signal up or down.

Q: 3. Will there be a dual lav single reciever package with this new mic?

A: Hi, James! Good day! There should be in the future but Sony has not said anything yet. Regards, Erin

Q: 4. is there something on the device that would make it introduce hiss into the transmission? I recently bought one. Tested it with 2 identical senheiser boom mics requiring 48v phantom. One sounds great, the other has a major hiss. Tried it on several other mics (57s/58s) and nothing. The "bad" mic works 100% when wired.

A: 1. Make sure to scan for the best frequencies to use before every session. 2. Try lowering the gain

Q: 5. will the URx P40 work with a UTX-P03 Transmitter?

A: Yes, the Sony URX-P40 Camera-Mount Wireless Receiver from the Sony UWP-D26 Camera-Mount Wireless Combo Microphone System is compatible for use with Sony UTX-P03 Plug-On Transmitters operating on the same frequency range.

Q: 6. Is this compatible with newer Canon hot shoe for mounting receiver directly to camera for digital audio transfer?

A: No, the Sony URX-P40 Camera-Mount Wireless Receiver included with the Sony UWP-D26 Camera-Mount Wireless Combo Microphone System is not compatible for digital connection to a Canon camera. It will only work in that manner with certain Sony cameras equipped with Sony's Multi Interface shoe. The URX-P40 receiver will connect to the microphone input on the Canon camera using a cable.

Q: 7. Can you turn off the auto-gain mode and control gain manually?

A: Yes, auto-gain can be disabled for the Sony UWP-D26 Camera-Mount Wireless Combo Microphone System.

Q: 8. Will it work with the Sony PXW-FS5M2 ?

A: Yes it will.

Q: 9. Will this be compatible with the older SMAD-P3 MI Shoe adapter or only the newer SMAD-P5 adapter?

A: Yes it will. It's backwards compatible with the older UWP systems as well.

Q: 10. I was advised this could be synced with the zoom recorders like h6. How would that work?

A: This will work woththe Zoom without a problem. Simply plug the 3.5mm to XLR cable into the output of the receiver and the input of the Zoom recorder.
