Compact at around 16 x 16 x 9", the Canon MAXIFY GX3020 is designed for small office environments and offers print, copy, and scan capabilities. It features a print resolution of 600 x 1200 dpi and allows automatic dual-sided printing. It has three paper trays supporting different size paper and allowing you to print standard documents as well as professional posters, banners, and signage using the Canon PosterArtist online app and the included black and color inks.

A 250-sheet main paper cassette supports up to letter size paper. A rear tray holds 100 sheets of up to legal size paper, custom sizes up to 8.5 x 47", or up to 20 sheets of 4 x 6" photo paper. And a manual feed, single-sheet rear flat tray also supports up to 8.5 x 47" custom paper. For scanning and copying, the flatbed accommodates up to letter size paper. The first page printout time is 8 seconds for single-side black-and-white prints and 9 seconds for color prints. The ESAT print speed rating is 18 ipm for letter-size black-and-white prints and 13 ipm for color prints.

The connectivity interfaces are built-in Wi-Fi for a wireless workflow and USB-B for a direct to computer connection. The Wi-Fi interface allows you to send wireless print commands from your phone or tablet using the Canon PRINT app, Easy PhotoPrint Editor app, Canon Print Service, PIXMA Cloud Link, Creative Park app, Apple AirPrint, and Mopria.

Q: 1. does this scan duplex?

A: The Canon MAXIFY GX5020 is a printer only. It does not have a scanner built in.

Q: 2. Can this printer still print in black if one or more of the other colors is empty?

A: As per Canon, even if you specify Black & White printing in the driver it still may use some color so it might be a problem. Not having the color ink inside may damage the printer.

Q: 3. WOULD LIKE TO COPY THIS 4X11 COLOR ON ONE SIDE BLACK AND WHITE ON THE OTHER SIDE WILL THE G6020 DO THIS ?

A: This printer will print duplex. You have to make sure the paper is coated for double-sided printing, otherwise it can smudge. If the paper is too thin, not heavy, less than 230 grams per square meter in weight, it may NOT be opaque enough, and the black from back might "bleed" into the white on the other side, knocking down it's maximum potential value.

Q: 4. Do I have to use CANON photo paper or can I use the HP paper that I have left from my previous printer?

A: The Canon PIXMA G3270 MegaTank All-in-One Wireless Inkjet Color Printer (White), B&H # CAPG3270WH, can use different branded paper that are within the rated thickness. The prints may not look as expected since there may be no ICC profile for the paper.

Q: 5. Does it have ONE CLICK software ?

A: This model doesn't come with the One Click software.

Q: 6. What the difference between GX6021 and GX6020 model?

A: The Canon MAXIFY GX6021 Wireless MegaTank All-In-One Printer is the forthcoming new model in the MAXIFY MegaTank All-In-One line.

Gone are the days of ink cartridges, I love the way I can pour ink into the ink containers in the printer. The ink is high quality and you can visibly see how much ink you have left. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new Canon GX3020-Wireless Mega Tank Small Office All-In-One Printer is a wonderful upgrade from our old printer. It was a snap to setup and the instructions were easy to follow. The ink tanks come with large sight glasses in the front of the printer making it easy to see the ink levels and are easy to fill with the Canon ink bottles. It comes with a very nice control panel that's easy to read and operate. it will copy, scan or print. As with all Canon products the quality is great and comes with the Canon support system. 5

It's a 3-in-1 so it prints,scans, and copies. It also does 2 sided printing. Ink Tanks last up to 6,000 pages Black and white and 14,000 pages of color.
