Bought it to get excellent shooting and downloading speeds. This card is a monster. Is it worth it? Yes, because it is the only option available now for my camera.

I think "tough" was a good name and descriptor for these cards. A slightly smaller outside dimension than an SD, just a bit thicker. But it's the advancement in speed that makes it worth the money. I'm using these cards in the Sony FX3, and it's been problem free so far. I have the option to use higher speed SDXC (e. g. V90's) which I'll probably reserve for clients that request them, but when it's my choice, I'll use these.

I would never risk using any other card on my Sony FX6. The camera was designed for this card. Why would I want to jeopardize a day's labor on something cheaper.
