The LeftField 3 15mm LWS Quick Release Baseplate Core from Bright Tangerine combines with different interchangeable Bright Tangerine riser blocks and dovetail plates for compatibility with multiple different cameras, tripods, and gimbals. The optional riser blocks provide the correct optical height for each camera and can be swapped in as needed.

The LeftField 3 Baseplate Core attaches to any ARRI-standard dovetail or the Bright Tangerine Left Field ARRI-Style Dovetail Plate. Using Bright Tangerine's Open•Up quick release system, it allows you to quickly switch between shoulder rigs, tripods, gimbals, and other camera supports such as the KASBAH shoulder pad. It also features a sliding, locking base that helps achieve optimal balance wherever you mount it.

The Baseplate Core provides front and rear 15mm LWS rod mounts for attaching accessories. Other LeftField components, such as side plates, supports, and grips can be attached to dedicated mounting threads to build up a full cage.

A: The Axler QRP-501S Quick Release Plate is only intended for use with Manfrotto 501PL systems and systems that accept Manfrotto style plates.

A: The support works with most Lens Adapters such as Metabones, Fotodiox, Novoflex etc. Most Lens adapters have a tripod foot with a 1/4" 20 threaded hole. the support is designed to screw into that hole and support the lens via the Lens Adapter. The included support is not designed to connect directly to a lens therefore if you are using a heavy E mount lens and wish to support it we recommend purchasing a separate lens support that will mount to the 15mm rods.

Q: 4. Does Kirk branded camera plates (Arca Swiss type) work properly with this clamp?

A: You should be able to secure a plate like the Kirk PZ-122 Arca-Type Compact Quick Release Plate in the SmallRig Quick Release Arca-Type Plate.

A: The Tilta Quick Release Baseplate for Sony FX6 lens support screw is not available to be purchased separately from the baseplate.

Q: 8. Manfrotto 200PL-PRO that looks similar to the Gitzo GS5370DR. Are they interchangeable ?

A: The Gitzo GS5370DR Standard Quick Release D Profile Plate only works on clamps that are Arca-Swiss style compatible. And the Manfrotto 200PL-PRO works on both Arca Swiss and Manfrotto RC2. If your head is RC2 the Gitzo plate will not work.
