Used with my Panasonic 160A....got used to the rocker within 30mins...very smooth ..my only gripe is the mini connectors...the iris/focus part of the cord should be longer than the zoom. 5

Purchased this for my HPX170 to replacing my very aged Bogen 522p that was just not behaving well. Super impressed with the PZFI so far. It gives me renewed hope that I can actually pull off an decent live zoom again. Works great. 5

This is my second VariZoom remote. Loved the 1st so much had to have another for my newest Panasonic AG-AC160A. This is mainly used shooting in the studio, at concerts and other non-run-and-gun events. Long cord allows for secondary operator to perform actions if necessary. But mostly used as a single person operation. 5

Used with Panasonic AG-160A at an outdoor wedding shoot. The remote allowed me total control of the lens with little practice. The zooming, iris and focus controls are smooth and easy to use. The LANC connectors do not lock into place. 5

I purchased the product in order to control my Panasonic AG-AV90P with one hand. This leaves my other good hand free to run my field mixer/jib/whatever. The controls operate smoothly and are well placed for my needs. When switching iris or focus from auto to manual there will be an abrupt transition (it's in the manuals). When mounted on the pan bar of my tripod, the mounting screws project below the bar. Gafe tape keeps me from catching the screws. I would highly recommend this product. 5

Use the controller with a Sony Z5U it works great and sure makes our camera operators happy. Taking unit on teh road to cover election and sporting events. Were purchasing a second unit this month. Have not as yet found any negatives but have only used unit a couple of weeks. 5

I've used 4 or 5 LANC remotes from different manufacturers, and the VZRock is my favorite. The thumb rocker feels good, even after hours of use. And I can get such sweet looking zooms with it that I really wouldn't want to use anything else. Also, the build quality of the whole thing is top notch. It feels very solid and professional. 5

Works great on my Sony camera and really allows me to get fantastic zooming shots while panning. Connects perfectly. Does need a bit of fine tuning before use. So before you use on a critical shoot make sure you zero out the zoom control. Quality product and I should have bought years ago to get those great zooming/panning shots. 5
