As the MAX Transmitter supports 14 VDC battery systems and has a top-voltage range of 28 VDC, it becomes increasingly dangerous to power it from the same batteries that you use for cameras that can handle input voltage up to 33.4 VDC.

This retrofit kit replaces the original plates on your MAX transmitter, and has Gold mount plates on both sides. The kit also features a 2-pin LEMO connector that outputs 12 VDC, which is safe for your transmitter.

A: We are not aware of any specific testing done with this product on the FS7 Extension Unit. However this does allow you to use Gold Mount batteries on systems with a V-mount plate. It should work with the FS7 Extension Unit as it has a V-Mount plate.

A: I'll answer my own question.... as I went and bought the thing...Yes the plate too long (tall) to fit an FS7 on a Titla rig base plate but you can take the back 15mm rail mounts off of the Tilts and you are good to go.
