Built with Epson's PrecisionCore Heat-Free printing technology, the Epson WorkForce WF-2960 is a professional-quality home office printer designed to deliver sharp text and vibrant colors at fast speeds.

The multifunction printer features print, scan, copy, and fax functions. It prints in up to 4800 x 1200 dpi resolution and can be set up with automatic two-sided (duplex) printing. The standard print speed is approximately 14 ppm in black and 7.5 ppm in color. The duplex print speed is 6.5 ppm in black and 4.5 ppm in color. The paper input tray holds 150 sheets of paper. Four standard capacity Claria 222 ink cartridges are included. Optional high-capacity Claria 222XL cartridges are also supported.

Built-in Wi-Fi allows a wireless workflow in which print commands can be launched from the Epson Smart Panel app (iOS/Android), Apple AirPrint, Mopria, and other apps/services. With an optional Epson Connect account and voice-activated account registration, print commands can also be triggered from Alexa, Siri, and Google Assistant. There are also Ethernet and USB interfaces for network or direct-to-computer connectivity. The WF-2960 is compatible with Windows, macOS, and Chrome OS.

For scanning, you can use the flatbed or the automatic document feeder (ADF), which holds up to 30 letter-sized sheets of paper or 10 legal-sized sheets. A free-download Epson ScanSmart software allows you to create searchable PDFs and more.

I do a lot of printing, so having something I can take with me to print on the go makes my life a lot easier. This printer does everything I need it to. I printed 30+ card stock (with color) pages with no problems. I even have plenty of ink left over. Set up was easy. All I had to do was plug it in and install the ink. The instructions for installation were easy to follow. Printing was much faster than I'm used to, so the whole process was quick and painless. This printer is perfect for what I need it for. I purchased this printer as a replacement to my WF-100, and love the upgrade especially the ability to print outside my network via Wi-Fi, and not have to worry about a cord. If I had to write one bad thing is when printing on the Wi-Fi you cannot access the internet. But it is still great. 5

This is a small portable printer , that can easily fit in your backpack to take anywhere. It doesn’t stop there , the print quality is awesome and it is super easy to setup and use . The battery will hold a charge to print if you don’t have a power source. It is made very well and looks neat the way it folds open . Overall I love this printer because it’s super easy to use and very convenient. 5

If you travel often, then this is one of the essential accessory that you need to carry. Even using it for home use, this can come handy without having to worry about power cords and can be treated just like your cell phone where you need to charge it every so often depending on how much it is used. The print quality is great, fast and colors are vibrant for a small size printer. Options to connect the printer are there, depending on the location you are at. If home or in office, can be connected via wifi, if mobile you can connect it via cable or wifi direct. You are also able to remotely print from any location in the world by simply sending it to your printers email address which is a great feature by Epson. Connect the printer to Google Cloud print and you can print it from there as well, another great option by Epson. As others mentioned, if not in use the print heads do get clogged up and have to re-test which shouldn't take time but just one minor issue that i have noticed but it should be an issue if you are using it for business or personal use and print fairly frequently. Overall performance of this printer is great and worth the MSRP. I have been using this printer for about a week now and I’m very pleased. When I received the box I was surprised at how compact and lightweight it was. The setup was very easy thanks to the straightforward instructions. It took about 10 minutes or less to have this printer up and running. The only setback I had was installing the two (included) ink cartridges. At first, I couldn’t get the shuttle (spot to install the cartridges) to slide over but once I pushed the button on the display, it came over. The display itself is colored and very easy to navigate. I was able to connect my printer to our WiFi without any issues. The printer is lightweight and small but don’t let its size fool you. I downloaded the Epson iPrint app for my iPhone and was able to print pictures and documents in no time (make sure both the printer and phone are connected to the same WiFi network). Not only is this printer fast but it’s also very quiet. I like how the printer holds a charge for a long time and you are able to easily carry it with you. It can fit in my purse or any laptop bag. This is honestly one of the best printers I’ve used; It’s fast, quiet, lightweight and portable. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new compact printer.
