The new transmitters/receivers which are found in the newer kits work on RFS 2/2.1/2.2, which use the 2.4 GHz radio frequency. As such, the newer radios cannot directly communicate with the older wireless radio system, and the Sekonic RT-BR Broncolor Transmitter Module would not talk to the power packs you own. As a work-around, you may purchase a Broncolor RFS 2 Receiver, B&H # BRRFS2R, and connect it to the sync terminal on your older power packs. While you will not have power control capability, you will be able to trigger the older power packs from a Sekonic meter with the installed RT-BR Broncolor transmitter module.
