The 112mm Kase KW Revolution Professional ND Kit features ND8, ND64, ND1000, and CPL magnetic filters as part of Kase's color-coded KW Revolution filter system. The filters are designed with color-coded filter frames for easy identification and swapping. The ND8 is color-coded blue, the ND64 is yellow, the ND1000 is red, and the CPL is silver. The kit also includes adapter rings, a filter case, and one front lens cap. The KW Revolution system is based on Kase's earlier Wolverine series and is fully backwards compatible with Wolverine filters.

KW Revolution filters are made with shock-resistant and water-resistant optical glass that's durable, easy to clean, and doesn't cause any color cast. In addition to being magnetic, the filters are also front threaded. This is one of the differences between the KW Revolution series and the earlier Wolverine series.

This kit includes both the standard magnetic adapter and the inlaid magnetic adapter supported by the KW Revolution series. The standard one screws onto your lens and lets you magnetically attach the filter to it. But the inlaid adapter works a bit differently. It secures to your lens in a very recessed way. It screws onto the front filter threads very close to the front lens element and nearly hidden within the filter thread area. It hardly leaves any space between the lens and filter. This results in minimized vignetting with wide angle lenses when you attach the filter. The filter snaps onto the adapter magnetically. Up to four filters can be stacked in total, both from this KW Revolution series and from the earlier Wolverine series, and the filters can be freely rotated. When your KW Revolution filter (or backwards compatible Wolverine filter) is removed from the inlaid adapter, you can leave the adapter on the lens. It will not interfere with attaching the original lens cap to the front of your lens. Similarly, it won't interfere with screwing in regular screw-in filters to the filter threads of the lens.

Besides securing directly to the lens, the inlaid adapter can instead be screwed onto the front threads of regular screw-in filters. The screw-in filter can then be screwed onto your lens, and the inlaid adapter will be on the front of that filter. You can then magnetically attach KW Revolution and Wolverine filters onto the adapter. The benefit of this flexibility is that it allows you to mount the KW Revolution filters on top of regular screw-in filters that you may want at the bottom of your stack.

The inlaid adapter is not compatible with step rings.

There are a few ways to screw in the ultra-slim inlaid adapter. The main way is to first attach it magnetically to one of the included ND filters, and to then screw in both by hand. This allows you to remove the filter or stack additional ones onto it. You can also attach the optional Kase magnetic lens hood.

A: Since this kit is designed for larger Canon DSLRs the Pocket Cinema Camera would fit in it, but you may find it to be far more rig than you actually need. Also the power cable is for batteries that run off of an LP-E6. I would like to suggest the Lanparte Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera Basic Handle Rig with Follow Focus instead. It will be more size appropriate for the Pocket Cinema Camera and you can always add the things it does not include, like a matte box and monitor.

Q: 2. Could this work with the JVC GY-LS300?

A: We think that it should. Probably the battery mount will need to be reversed to accommodate the longer body of the JVC GY-LS300 vs a DSLR.

Q: 3. Will this work with the blackmagic 6k pro?

A: While the suitability of the LanParte Lanparte Professional Kit V2B for a BMDPCC 6K Pro is not known, we do not see any reason it cannot work.

A: PK-01 is fine, but PK-02 is a lot better, either way you can rest assured cause LanParte's got you covered! You will need longer rods and a Lanparte Tele-Lens Support (TS-02) for the 28-135 F4 lens. Our rods have a variety of length ranging from 100mm-450mm. The rods on PK-01 are 300mm just purchase our rod extension screws (LPT-V2-059) you can just buy 100mm rods to make your rods 400mm in length. Or simply get 365mm rods. Don't worry about matte box vignetting since it only occurs on PK-01 at wider than 16mm.

Q: 5. Will this work with a Canon 1D?

A: Yes the C Arm will give you enough clearance for the 1D. Also the Follow Focus and Matte Box are height adjustable!

Q: 6. Can I choose to receive a different dummy battery pack that works with a GH4?

A: The kit comes with an E6 dummy battery in the box and can't be swapped. LanParte has one for GH4, but you'll have to talk to B&H sales about having the one for GH4 instead.

A: I am sure it could be made to work. You would need a cable with barrel connectors on both ends. Unfortunately, at this time there is no known cable available for the LanParte VBP-01 Sony V-Mount Battery Pinch to connect to the JVC GY-LS300. I could not find one with either LanParte or JVC. I would then have to recommend that you get a technician experienced in making such cables to create a custom one for you. Camera rental houses often have people who can do this for a fee.

A: You can use the Canon 1D C with the Lanparte Professional Kit V2B. The L bracket that comes over the camera, it's height is adjustable so that any DSLR can fit.

A: No, sorry, a C100 will not fit in the V2B cage; it is too tall. A: Both the L and non L versions of the Canon 70-300mm lenses are 5.6 long. The rods for the Lanparte Professional DSLR Kit V1 are 11.8 therefore I do not see a problem mounting those lenses on this rig.
