A: Kevin, I'm almost positive off-hand that the pure gold is opposite the white. :-/ Silver is opposite the silver-gold mix. Translucent is the middle part.

A: Unfortunately the storage bag is not available separately.

A: I don't have any problems with it. But moving a clip to the counter balance side would require a major modification to it. Not easily done at all.

Q: 4. Would one of these holders hold the larger 42 x 72 rectangular discs or would we need two to hold in in place?

A: definitely 2 ! And you still need sandbags! But it works awesome as long as it's not too windy. The wind can be challenging.

A: The Photoflex Telescopic LiteDisc Holder (870256) is built more for the LiteDisc than to hold accessories. There isn't much to counter balance. There is a 3/8 stud at the back end, and a flush-top 5/8 stud at the front end. A light-weight mike may be able to be attached to either end.

Q: 6. How should I care for this product?If I want to get the wrinkles out of the white side to use as a background can I steam it?

A: Only the translucent center can be steamed to remove wrinkles. The covers cannot.

A: The reflector is discontinued but the attachment on the strobe and the reflector is called the Bowens S-Mount. And many lights use that same connection. It is around 5.7 inches (144mm)

A: Yes the stand mount on this arm is made of aluminum.

Q: 9. Can anyone recommend the best light stand for this? Do I need a heavy duty one or can I use any light stand?

A: The heavier the better but I've used it successfully with cheap kit light stands. The counterweight location becomes more important with lighter duty stands to keep the stand from tipping. Larger reflectors on cheap stands work best if they're hung to provide horizontal fill. Heavier stands allow you to extend heavier reflectors and position them at any angle for clamshell lighting or product fill.
