The 3 x 3" Green CC20G Color Compensating Polyester Filter from Lee is designed to control and balance color, which absorbs the reds and blues from the color spectrum. The filter will also compensate for deficiencies in different light sources like tungsten or halogen lights. Certain older color films, when the colors have weakened over time, can also be color corrected to enhance the quality of the image. This filter has a filter factor of 1.3, which increases your exposure by 1/3 of a stop.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this work with the AF version of the Rokinon 14mm lens?

A: no, these rings are custom made for each lens.

Q: 2. Can you or how can you use a polarizing filter with this holder and does it have to be a lee filter?

A: You can use a square polarizer like this one:LEE Filters 4x4 Circular Polarizer Glass FilterB&H # LECP44 Mfr # PLC-GIt can rotate by spinning the entire holder. Most other 4x4 circular polarizers will work ,also.

Q: 3. LEE Filters SW150 Mark II Lens Adapter for Samyang/Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 ED AS IF UMC Lens - I have the Samyang 14mm Cine lens AS IF UMCII. Will the adaptor work on this lens?

A: I don't know: I don't have the lens you mentioned.

Q: 4. Has the basic filter holder been redesigned recently? I have an old version that is all plastic with threaded inserts for the screws. I recently saw a Lee lens hood that had a center ring that was metal that was fused to the plastic. Is the current 2014 holder plastic -metal hybrid or all plastic?

A: This filter holder is made of a heavy duty, high impact plastic with metal screw threads built in.

Q: 5. Will this work with rokinon 14mm f2.8 lens with AE chip

A: No, the LEE Filters SW150 Mark II Lens Adapter for Samyang/Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 ED AS IF UMC Lens does not work with the Rokinon 14mm f2.8 lens with AE chip.

Q: 6. The lens cap no longer fits once the adapter is fitted. Neither the adapter or filter holder comes with a lens cap and I cannot find one. What is used to protect the lens with the adapter in place?

A: I cannot speak directly to the Canon lens, as I use a Nikon 14-24. If they're similar, I can tell you that on the Nikon, Lee provided a neoprene sock for lack of a better word. It fits snugly, and actually does a better job of keeping dust off the lens glass. Also, the lens cap provided by Nikon does still fit, barely. However, I added a piece of gaffers tape to the rim of the lens cap, making it fit more snugly, and that holds the original lens cap nicely. So for me, I have two ways that work. Ultimately, I use both simultaneously. The neoprene sock certainly will not protect the lens glass from ANY kind of impact. I've seen some videos where people are frustrated that they have to choose one or the other. Nonsense! I simply places the hard lens cap inside the neoprene sock and place over my lens. Best of both worlds. In fact, I ordered an extra sock for my other 14-24, as added dust protection. They work great! Hopefully, your Canon will have similar success!

Q: 7. Does the pouch work well with the glass filters like the big stopper & polarizers?

A: Yes, it works with 150x150 filter perfectly.

Q: 8. Will this work with the 12 mm Rokinon lens?

A: It's made specifically for the 14mm lens, so no it won't work.

Q: 9. Can I use this on a Nikon 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR?

A: Yes you can. It just requires an adapter ring which would be 72mm for the lens in question. Lee is a great system. You'll love it.

Q: 10. I have the Rokinon 14mm. does the Lee filters work great with this lens?, Does it vignetting too much?

A: I use this adapter with my nikon 14-24mm and have no issues with vignetting. It works well and I'm happy with it. Good luck with your purchase.
