A solid performer considering the cost. Yes, a somewhat flat response curve, but isn't that what you want from a negative? I use it for my kids.

I've shot several bulk rolls of this film and I have no complaints. I fact, I have a hard time seeing why I'd want to spend almost twice as much for film, that, to me, doesn't look noticeably better than this film.

I really like this film for the price it lays flat and very easy to scan. I have probably shot over 100 rolls and really liked all of the photos I got from Kentmere Pan 400. the camera that I mostly use is a Canon Elan 7ne and it exposes the film really well.

An incredibly reliable film that always produces the results I want. Looks good at 400, 800, and even pushed to 1600. The grain is fairly minimal, but I like it. Depending on who develops it it can have a bluish tint, but real professionals can get a perfectly clear black and white image that looks great. Perfect for both beginners or experts looking to experiment.

I am fairly new to film development and currently in a college course for darkroom. I love this film for its tonal range and contrast. It allows me to create interesting contrast but is still subtle enough to feel natural. It seems to be pretty forgiving in my processing as well. The grain is just enough to give that feeling I like that says, “This was shot on film.”, without being so coarse that it feels gritty. It’s just perceptible.
