A: The straight cutter will do both, the rabbet cutter will do up to 4mm and the straight bevel will do 12mm and the bevel will do 4mm.

Q: 5. Will this attach to a tripod? Also, I am assuming you can remove the cold shoe and just have two screws to attach to? Thanks!

A: Hi Joe. Yes this will attach to a tripod. The version I purchased does not have a cold shoe attached there is only a screw. This screw then attaches to your camera and the tripod mount is then screwed into the bottom of that screw. The screw which moves attaches to, in my case, a motion/lightning sensor. Ken

Q: 6. is this bracket compatible with the sb900 and D200 nikon?

A: We have the SB600 and SB700. Very compatible with these flashes which have the same flash shoe as the SB900. We have the Nikon D90 and D7100 so I can't comment on the compatibility with the D200.

Q: 7. Can I mount both a camcorder (Sony HDR-CX455) and the Rode VideoMicro Compact On-Camera Microphone to a tripod, using this bracket ?

A: Yes. The Sony is 4.8 wide and the bracket is adjustable to accommodate that camera width and fit the Rode microphone with the deadcat wind muffler and still have some room for adjustment.

Q: 8. Does this bump or jump over the connectors causing unusable footage? How smooth would you rate this?

A: This is designed to be smooth across the entire track. It should not have any bumps when you go from 1 section to another. This is considered an entry level track system. It is much more convenient and reliable than most DIY solutions but it is not designed to compete with industry standard systems such as Matthews or Dana Dolly. Overall this is a great value for beginner or intermediate filmmaker looking to add camera movement to their productions on a tight budget.

Q: 9. Can you extend the tracks indefinitely? As in, can two sets of track be added together for one long, smooth shot?

A: No need to drill or anything else, extensions are added in between the end cap and actual rail.

Q: 10. Will this fit on any Logan board?

A: This unit works on my Logan 301-1 Compact Classic Mat Cutter. It cuts straight and true, but recommend making several draws of the blade rather than trying to make the cut in a single stroke. If the blade bits too hard and binds it will pull the mat out of alinement. Also make several practice cut so as to learn where to place the line you wish to follow. The line should be very close to the guide but it is not precisely next to the guide (1/32 out from the guide).
